A very cute little village. A day trip to see the windmills and this characteristic little harbor. Park near the harbor (take a walk in the marina among the boats) and then head to the center full of restaurants and little shops! Absolutely a must-see!
Very enjoyable way of seeing some of the countryside surrounding Amsterdam and learning about the history of windmills, cheese and clog making and Stroopwaffel making. Pieter the guide was very informative and had amazing linguistic skills - he and Hans the driver were very helpful. Definitely recommend this tour.
It’s was amazing!! The guides were fun and knowledgeable!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The two guides were knowledgeable, friendly and were always ensuring that we were comfortable and enjoying the trip. There was a problem with the air conditioner and so we were compensated for that with coupons or discounts. We only have positive comments about the tour operator.
Dear Mohan, Thank you for the wonderful review. We are very happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Volendam, Zaanse Schans, Marken, and Edam. It is great to know that our guides made you feel comfortable and shared their knowledge in a friendly way. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the air conditioning issue and are glad our team could offer a solution. Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to welcome you again soon. Kind regards
Not great..very less time at each stop..Edam was a complete waste of time. The guide took ages to explain each place with unnecessary details hence very less time to explore...more factory visits so that we could purchase things. Bus was dirty.would not recommended . Quite disorganised
We had a free day in Amsterdam and were looking to see the Dutch countryside. This tour proved to be a fantastic choice, The Tours and Tickets bus and guides did a great job. They were very helpful, friendly, and clearly focused on our satisfaction. We enjoyed the tour and everything we learned.
Dear guest, Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to hear that you chose our tour on your free day in Amsterdam and that you enjoyed discovering the Dutch countryside. It is great to know that our guides and team made you feel well taken care of and helped make the experience enjoyable. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again. Kind regards
I had a bad experience with a bike tour that promised windmills, a farm experience and cheese tasting and purchased this tour after that one as I didn't get what I wanted. THIS TOUR DELIVERED!!! You go on a Motorcoach to all these small towns starting with the Windmills -- breathtaking!! Then off to a farm to taste a bunch of cheese, you see how the Holland shoes (klompen) are made and you have cute stores, among others, to buy them if you choose. The whole tour is about eight (8) hours and its tiring but you see so many towns and the sites are beautiful. I truly liked the tour and the memories made. You do not want to miss it!!!
Dear guest, Thank you for your kind review. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that it gave you the full Netherlands experience you were hoping for. It is great to know you liked the windmills, the farm visit, and the demonstrations in the villages. We really appreciate your feedback and are glad you left with such good memories. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Kind regards
This is a trip that includes a good description of the mills, while those about the production of clogs, cheese, and stroopwafels are advertisements for the connected shops. Too tight of a schedule; we arrived in Edam when everything was closed.
Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments about the timing, and we offer a similar but longer tour, so maybe you will join that tour in the future. We are glad you were able to learn more about the windmills during the tour. Kind regards
Do not trust them; despite three phone calls, they were unable to help me. The waiting time is longer than the contact time. Moreover, they refuse the refund.
The Tour has a great concept, with some really interesting content and good locations. I think it has great potential. But the tour that we did had far too many people on it for the amount of guides we had. 80-100 approx with x2 guides, with only one doing the main speaking part. Ideally the groups would be better as 20-30 people per guide. It was difficult to hear information, with some important things being told to the group while people were still exiting the bus so many did not hear it. The guide had no speaker and we didn't have head sets to hear it either. They piled us all in a room for the demonstrations, which made it difficult to see and then when we did tastings quite often the samples were finished when we got to them. It would be a better option to split the groups and have one watching the demo while the other tastes and then swap them. The guides were friendly and tried but very difficult to work with such a big group. Not a great experience, but please take this as constructive criticism.
