Great experience learning the history of Intramuros. Russell the tour guide did an outstanding job of informing our group about the history of Manila.
Nice 3 hour tour covering historical sites & history of the Philippines! Great guide who kept a good pace with a diverse group!
A really interesting insight into the history of Manila covering the Spanish and US. Russell is a wonderful tour guide, who is clearly so interested in sharing that history. He talks of things he has done extra research on for himself. Nice small group of people so it's easy to ask questions.
Having visited the Philippines well over a dozen times, I had never been on a tour so educational and fascinating. Russell is passionate about Intramuros and Manila’s’ history. I would easily bring family and friends or recommend to experience.
The tour guide (Russell) was very knowledgeable and prepared for the heat. Arranged for waters for the group at the halfway point in the tour.
The length of the tour was just right and what made it great was our tour guide Russel who was excellent! He was full of knowledge and passionate about his job. If you are looking to explore Intramuros with a knowledgeable guide, I hope you get Russell!
Steven was a great guide: thank you! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Intramuros, but not ponderous or dull. I recommend him highly. The tour was 3 hrs & well-paced. We saw the city walls, gate, fortress, dungeons, churches & Casa Manila house. I learnt a great deal, especially about National hero, Jose Rizal, & the terrible Battle of Manila. The old city was quiet & peaceful. The group was small & Steven answered questions well.
