Itinerary
You pass through a beautiful winding river channel that stretches with greenery
You will have the opportunity to see Lesendro - the historical fortress built in the 18th century by our king Petar II Petrovic Njegos
Passing through a small natural bird reserve, you can see crested grebes, grey herons, cormorants and other bird species. You will discover the perfect beauty of nature as you pass through small canals carved out of the reeds. Once we’ve crossed these canals, you will discover a vast area of the Skadar lake covered by water lilies, white lotuses and other species (depending on the season). This vast area offers an incredible panoramic view of the floating plants. Lake Skadar is an ideal place for fishing and bird-watching, as there are many species of fish and birds. During the boat trip, listening to the sounds of the birds and observing nature offers an interlude of peace, serenity and relaxation. Sailing around three islands known as « Mala and Velika Cakovica » and « Kamenik », you will have an opportunity to enjoy a wild and unique view of Skadar Lake.
On the way back, you will have the option to go swimming in the middle of the lake if you want to experience it. It’s a chance to feel alive and connected to nature.

2-hour boat tour for 22 euros per person with park entrance included, good explanations, and very beautiful scenery, we loved it!!! It is really a must-do during a trip to Montenegro. The lady who sold us the tickets in the village is French and very friendly, with good advice; I recommend it without hesitation!!!
Milena, a great guide, accompanied us on the kayak and gave it her all, thanks a million. Victor was very helpful and attentive. A 10/10 experience. They are the last ones on the left as you go up towards the lake. Family from Madrid
A very beautiful activity, with breathtaking landscapes. The captain provided us with numerous pieces of information and allowed us to swim in a very lovely spot. Special mention for the Breton, by the Bretons on a trip ⛵😁
It was beautiful trip we enjoy I’m really come back
The lake is absolutely stunning. Seeing the birdie and the lake from the boat really was a peaceful, serene and beautiful experience. Well worth doing! My only niggle was I’d hoped we would have the opportunity to go swimming (which we were also told when we checked in for the tour), but we didn’t get the chance. It didn’t take away from the experience but it would have been a lovely extra.
Viktor tours is the best!!! Kind people, family company. It was amazing! We had Peter as captain, perfect experience.
Really lovely private boat tour on Sat 30 May on Lake Skadar with this little company. Nico was a super guide, gave us loads of info on this beautiful tranquil place. It was so relaxing and we were given a lovely glass of local wine or a soft drink. We took a 90 minute cruise and it was perfect. Good value too. Highly recommend. So lovely with our son too who has a disability and uses a wheelchair. Thanks so much!!
At the top, frankly great
It is a beautiful place - lake among mountains, but as we visited it in Nov, the weather was not that great and perhaps it was a bit cold to enjoy the ride in open boat for an hour and a half. We did spot a pelican and a kingfisher, but there weren’t many birds about this time a year. I would suggest visiting Virpazar in the spring, summer or early autumn to get a full value out of it. Other than that it’s a tranquil place - quite hidden away, especially when you get the boat to take you around the small isles many the little church on a side of a mountain. It’s very tranquil and pretty that side and away from the open lake
Beautiful human-sized boat experience in a warm Mood Captain on top and we didn't get jumped to sell us a ticket Everything was fine
