VIP Private Macau Day-trip from Hong Kong w. Private Guide & Car

Description
See the best of Macau and go deep down to the food, culture, and history of the city in one day! If you'd like to visit a nearby city during your Hong Kong trip, Macau is one of the best options. The two cities share a certain similarities yet so different in development and fascinating with their own charms. In this one day trip, I will share with you the old and new sides of Macau. We will wander through old streets mixed of colonial architecture and old southern Chinese houses, to the new mesmerising casino buildings in Taipa where some people calls it a "Vagas 2. 0". In my years of food writing I was fascinated by the unique ways how Macau preserved and developed its food culture. In this trip, I will bring you to one of my favourite Macau Portuguese restaurants for lunch as well as stopping for local snacks and traditional desserts on the way.

Ashley is the absolute best. We booked a 4 person 3 day tour with her in Hong Kong and she is by far the best tour guide I've ever encountered. Everything was meticulously planned out, but she helped us pivot and gave options when we wanted to see something different or change the plan. She let us linger or stay longer in temples and gardens when we wanted and adjusted to our needs. As a former journalist and food/culture expert, she knew so much history behind the city and the country. Can't recommend Ashley enough! I'd love to come back one day and explore Macau with her! Thanks for everything Ashley! - Cody/Emily/John/Judy
Ashley is just the best guide! We had three lovely days with her and hated to say goodbye at the end. Macau was not originally on our "to see" list as we thought it was only casinos but we're so glad we decided to go. We took the bus there (a very interesting experience) and the high-speed ferry back. The Portuguese history in Macau is fascinating and Ashley knew just where to take us for the best egg tarts and then a delightful courtyard tea shop for refreshments. After touring the old city, we had a delicious lunch in a beautiful restaurant and then a visit with the local pandas. Macau shows a very different side of Hong Kong as is well worth the visit (with Ashley of course)!
