Do not expect the guide to give you any information in the Basilica or museums. She basically got us through the ticket gate and left the group on our own. Other tours had guides explaining history & architectural details. You don’t get that with this tour.
Incredible everything we visited. Cristina, our Venetian guide, was correct and friendly. A 10 out of 10. Congratulations.
The audio guide is full of dates, names, and really nothing interesting at all about what you are seeing. We were so disappointed.
The guide was a few minutes late. The Doge's palace was beautiful and worth a ticket. The Bacilica was beautiful but a very short time walking through the venue. If you get a self guided tour like we did, please download the chapters to the audio guide because you won't have any signal in the cathedral.
We had initially missed our scheduled tour, but the company was incredibly accommodating and placed us on a later one without any hassle — which we truly appreciated. Our guide, Claudio, was exceptional. He was professional, knowledgeable, and carried himself with a calm, confident presence that made the entire experience feel smooth and enjoyable. What stood out most was his compassion and attentiveness — he made sure everyone in the group felt included and taken care of. His knowledge of the Vatican was impressive, but even more than that, it was the way he delivered the information — engaging, thoughtful, and easy to follow. You could tell he genuinely cared about the experience he was giving us. Overall, this turned what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable and meaningful tour. Highly recommend both the company and Claudio.
A lot of walking and talking but very informational. Guide was knowledgeable and patient with the group.
The entire tour seemed very disorganized. Firstly, the speaker/headsets were effectively useless since they were extremely choppy and had static noise for everyone in our tour. Secondly, the Basillica tour was rushed and very little info was given. Save your money and go to the Campanile and/or San Giorgio.
Easy to book, great communication throughout. Excellent tour, lots of information through the app. Remember to take headphones and download the app for a guided tour. Definitely recommend
The basilica is beautiful, as well as the palace. However, the so-called "audioguide" is not up to the task at all. The information is fragmented and we do not know what the guide is talking about. Moreover, the timing of the visit is too tight. We had poru the basilica at 2pm, then we made the dog palace from which we came out at 4:40pm. However, admission to the museums is only possible until 5pm. So we couldn't get there. So the price seems clearly excessive.
AMAZING! Our tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. So friendly
