Experienced & friendly guide. Got to see many back alleyways & courtyards that we would never have seen
Annalisa was a fantastic guide and this was a thoroughly enjoyable tour. Being a genuine Venetian, Annalisa was not only able to take us away from the tourist hotspots and through many of the lesser-used, lesser-known back alleys and side streets, but she was able to give recommendations and insights and answer questions as we walked, all in addition to the stories she was focused on as part of the tour itself. This makes for a really authentic experience and is why we always book a ghost tour when visiting new cities - these tours can be hit and miss, but I can definitely recommend Annalisa's!
I was really impressed by Annalisa’s tour. I learned so many new stories and tales about the things that took place in Venice so many years ago. She took us into lots of small nooks and crannies throughout the city that we would have never thought to go. The history and events surrounding Marco Polo was also mouth dropping! I’ll remember to ring the bells iin Venice when I pass over the bridges upon my return!!
This tour was so unique and we heard great ghost stories, learnt about the history of Venice, and learnt about the culture of Venice. Our guide Victoria was very knowledgeable and told each story in an engaging manner, and answered any and all questions people had.
Analisa was a great tour guide with such fun stories and recommendations! It was amazing to see a different side of the city that isn’t usually shown on tours. (P.S. apologies if her name is spelled wrong!)
A super sweet guide, who has given a lot of explanations, not only about ghosts and murders but also about how Venice came to be. Super interesting excursion! Definitely recommended!
Anna was fab - we laughed, we ‘wow-ed’ and we learned loads. Was a brilliant experience for the two adults and 12 year old in our party. Highly recommend, my son’s very favourite thing we’ve done in Venice so far!
Our guide Annalisa, a Venetian local, was absolutely fantastic! She is incredibly passionate about her city and is an engaging storyteller. Like most lore, the things we learned had historical truth mixed with cultural insights and legend. We learned a side of Venice that we likely wouldn’t have ever heard elsewhere. Highly recommend!
My guide was kind and knowledgeable, but the stories were far-fetched and didn't offer enough historical context. Throughout the tour, each tale could've had more details and lots more gore.
Ghosts and murder yours are something we always look for when we travel. It was fun and extremely interesting. Anna made it perfect. She was amazing and has a great personality and passion for what she does. The thunderstorm weather added to the tour too. Highly recommended thank you
