Your private Egyptologist will pick you up from your hotel/Nile cruise or apartment in Luxor to discover the West bank of Luxor. Start your day visiting Valley of the Kings, take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 65 Pharaohs. You will get a full explanation of the place, why it was picked to be the royal cemetery and get an explanation of what you will be seeing inside the tombs. It is the place where the famous king TutAnkhAmun was burried and found with all of his treasures!
Hatshepsut's temple is one of the world’s most striking architectural masterpieces, but perhaps even more noteworthy is the woman who commissioned it. She was the first woman ever to rule Egypt. But how was she bale to do so? How come no one dared to refuse her or strike against? Well this is our story that we will tell once we get there
At the southern end of the Theban hillside, the Valley of the Queens contains at least 60 tombs that belonged to queens of the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties as well as to other members of the royal families, including princesses and the Ramesside princes. Four of the tombs are open for viewing.
Before finishing your west bank tour you will stop by the clossi of Memnon, the 2 singing statues. Sadly they stopped singing! How did solid statues use to sing or make a sound? And why did they stop? Our endless interesting stories about Egypt and the sites you will visit will keep impressing you.

Our tour was wonderful from start to finish. George is very professional, responsive and clear in communication, speaks great English and is genuinely excited to share the history and stories that bring each site to life. It was a tour that allowed us to efficiently go around the sights in a limited time. The guides were also friendly, knowledgeable and very kind. On the way back, we dropped off at Kanak Palace at our request.
