Valley of Kings, Queens and Hatshepsut Temple Tour

Absolutely unforgettable experience! I took a day trip to Luxor from Cairo where my tour guide, Sama promptly picked me up from the arrival gate. Sama is extremely knowledgeable with good English and answered any questions I had with clarity and depth. Mohammed, our driver for the day did an amazing job navigating traffic and getting us to destinations promptly and safely. I had a late flight back to Cairo and Sama & Mohammed graciously found a few extra things to do with me to kill some time. I am over the moon with their hospitality and kindness. I would not choose another tour!

Great to see Valley of the Kings and Queens, and Hapshetsut temple. A must see when in Luxor. However the guide Fatma was low energy, gave minimal information, and did not mention to get an extra ticket for the Seti tomb which we would have liked to have seen even if it is a bit expensive. It seemed she had her own agenda and didn't care that we were excited to see as much as possible as it is our one and only chance to go there. We also were collected quite late considering there was a heatwave (8:30am) and so busy by the time we got there. It would have been better to go around 6:30am instead. We also had no interest in going to the alabaster workshop/store, but we were brought there anyway.

Cultural sites to see absolutely and even more important to go there with a trained guide like ours. Emad was immediately very helpful and kind and with perfect Italian. Highly recommended!

A superb visit. We started really early at 0530 and had the temples to ourselves. Our guide Mahmoud was superb so informative and provided us with a real understanding for what we were looking at. We were not rushed and had time to take everything in. Having guide protected us from being hassled and I would recommend this approach throughout any trip to the key sites. Thank you Mahmoud F.

Luxor is one of the most beautiful tourist places that I visited. The queen Hatshepsut considers one of the most important queens in the Pharaonic era.

I would 100% recommend this tour. It couldn't have gone more smoothly from start to finish, Our guide, Ashraf, sent us a message the day before to confirm the start time and pick up point. He was waiting for us in the boat lobby on time and was very friendly and so knowledgable. He soon picked up just the right level of information we needed - not too simple, and not too detailed either. We were given as much time as we need in each of the sites. We had been on a previous tour to the Valley of the Kings and it was so rushed. Ashraf gave us all the time we needed to explore five tombs. I must recommend the extra visit to Seti I tomb. It is the most expensive but worth every penny. Valley of the Queens was not available with out tour company so it was a superb inclusion in this tour. Highly recommend as it is much quieter that VOK - at times we were the only ones inside the tomb. Again, at Hatsheput's temple we were given all the time we needed. We had an unexpected quick stop at Memnon too which was a nice surprise. We were offered, but declined, a visit to a pottery factory. There was no hard sell at all on this but as we had already been out for 6 hours we wanted to get back for lunch, otherwise we would have been happy to visit. The taxi driver was polite and we felt very safe at all time. This was my first experience of booking my own tour and not going through the tour operator. I wish I had done more like this for the rest of the days of our cruise. It was much cheaper and tailored exactly to our needs. Ashraf really knew his stuff and with just four of us in the group we were not being herded around. We got excellent value for money - 6 full hours to explore the East Bank with a great guide.

Our day in Luxor was fantastic thanks to Abdol, our excellent guide. We visited the Valley of Kings, the Valley of Queens and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Abdol had a perfect knowledge of ancient Egyptian history and spoke perfectly Greek, making the tour interesting and fun. The transportation was luxurious and very comfortable. We strongly recommend this experience for lovers of history and culture

The private tour with an Egyptologist was the best way to explore Luxor's most famous sites. The Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple were incredible, and the air-conditioned transport made the journey comfortable.
