This was a brilliant tour. The guide, Mike, was knowledgeable, accommodating, and very friendly. He even arrived early! Nice small group of 4, and unfortunately I had to drop from the difficult hike to intermediate due to lack of numbers for difficult but the guide arranged for a few side quests to some exra special view points. Super hot day but water and snacks were abundant - length of time was fine, too hot to stay any longer though I would have liked to cover a little more ground. What we did see though was away from crowds and super interesting. Definitely recommended.
We had a small group, just my partner and I, and it was a ton of fun exploring the Valley of Fire with our guide Michael. Michael was great he was very considerate making sure we were hydrated and adjusted the pace for the level of hiking we were. He gave us chance to do some off the path exploring and was very knowledgeable about the local fauna and wildlife.
Wonderful hike! I did the moderate version and guide Chris was fantastic. He made the hike enjoyable by pointing out the history of the area, identifying the different vegetation and why it was there, while also making sure to find the best scenic spots and take incredible photos. At the end, he even provided the opportunity to challenge myself and do a little more difficult scramble for the experience and to get another great view. Would completely recommend this!
Level of activity is as advertised: moderate, which is to say, not a “walk in the park.” Nice duration and mix of flat plus ascending and descending portions will give even reasonably fit folks enough of a physical challenge. Very interesting and scenic area well worth the (provided) drive from Las Vegas. Guide did a great job.
Everything was handled for us and Sarah was awesome with tons of experience on trails and routes to take to match what we wanted to accomplish. Moderate hike was plenty for us as a first-time rock scrambling. We were used to normal hikes up and down but this was a first trying some scrambling on rocks with hand and foot holds but nothing that was too difficult. It was a great experience with great scenery and some bighorn sheep to start the tour.
A very enjoyable time hiking through a beautiful place with incredible view of the landscape and plants
This is the best way of exploring the Valley of Fire. I was taking the moderate hike, and this was a good choice -- not so hard, but still got the joints stretched. Also, thanks to Nick for being a good guide and great conversation partner.
Our guide, Chris, is a rock star! He took us to breathtaking views in the Valley of Fire, where we would have never ventured on our own. He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about all facets of the area - geology, history, flora and fauna. We would give him a 10+!
Nick was an amazing tour guide during my hike at Valley of Fire, Nevada. He was very informative, super funny, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. He was also generous, polite, and even helped take great photos along the way. Highly recommend him if you want a fun and memorable adventure! - Kevin
Pick up and drop off were as described with no issues. Smooth drive (I even dozed off!). Nick the guide as incredible. Gave us alot of detail and information about plants, animals & topography. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. I will take a different tour with the same group next time I am in town.
