Itinerary
We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.
We include a photo stop at the famous Welcome to Las Vegas Sign - Our guides will show you the best place to stand to get your photos to create a happy memory of your time in Vegas.
Travel through historic Boulder City, viewing the quaint Dingbat houses which were built for the Dam Workers, and the historic Hoover Dam Hotel. We also make a stop here so you can visit the Hoover Dam Museum.
Our buses have an added treat, a panoramic photo stop at the new Hoover Dam bypass bridge for the single best view available of Hoover Dam. Get those cameras ready for the best selfie ever!
On arrival, you’ll begin with a generator viewing. Travel 524 feet (160 meters) into the walls of Black Canyon to view the Nevada power-plant, generators and a 30-foot-diameter (9-meter) pipe inside one of the four giant diversion tunnels. Next, head into the Hoover Dam Visitor Center where you can see the history of Hoover Dam and view numerous exhibits that explain how the dam was built, how it operates and who benefits from the water and electricity. Walk on the Top Tour - This is an exclusive, fully guided comprehensive 45-minute walk over the top of the dam. Your knowledgeable guide will touch all aspects of the dam including electricity, outlet works, intake towers, concrete, diversion tunnels, water/drought, deaths, wages, earthquakes, artwork, WWII and more.
Relax and enjoy pleasant conversation with fellow travelers over a hot made-to-order sit down Lunch on the way back to Las Vegas. As you drive back to town, you might hear Vegas trivia about topics such like the mafia, casino moguls, activities, restaurant deals and more before being dropped off. Each guide has a unique style and information.

Andrew our comedian did an excellent job at catering to our needs and keeping us entertained. Quan the bus driver was very respectful and timely. All in all, brilliant day and worth the money.
Obtained a lot of information about the Hover Dam. You are shown all of the items & given explanations about how it all works. You learned how energy was supplied to others.
Very organized and relaxing. Some stairs and walking but not too difficult. Best part is having a driver and guide. Makes the tour so much more personable. Derek, oyr driver, and Trey, our guide, were great.
The guide was not funny at all. Didn’t even try to be. The dam employees were not friendly and seemed to rush you through. The tour was interesting but I would not do it again.
Such a great day seeing the Hoover Dam. Trez was awesome!! Informative and also great fun. Would strongly recommend.
This was such a great way to end our Vegas vacation. Pat and Bernice were such a great team. Pat was funny and full of tips and tricks. We loved the sprint through the gift shops. The full sit down breakfast was a great surprise. We were well hydrated along the way. Don’t hesitate do this tour … it’s a traditional tour with a comedy twist. Support small business! Good luck guys! Thanks for a great day.
We appreciated many aspects of this tour, and our guide was kind, genuine, and appeared to enjoy what he does. I enjoyed the tour concept, but Jonathan’s humor was not everyone’s cup of tea and sometimes felt a bit excessive. The audio system had intermittent issues, making it difficult to fully understand what he was saying. The breakfast was decent and well-organized. For breakfast, I recommend the pancakes, French toast, or the scramble eggs with vegetables. The food at the Canyon was also decent (priced at $27 plus tax). It included a choice of chicken, beef, or a vegetable option with mashed potatoes, corn, and a biscuit. We both had the chicken, which was tasty and fell off the bones. Considering the high prices in Vegas, it might be worth considering adding food to your package. We were disappointed with how the company handled the Premier package. We chose the Premier package because of the zip line “free add-on,” but were told that it was closed due to wind conditions. We later learned it had reopened (unsure if it was ever closed to be honest), yet NO effort was made to allow us to return or participate on the way back. Our request to do it later in the tour was declined. I think the tour’s timeline does not properly account for the zip line. The zip line was crucial to OUR decision to choose this tour. We were not provided with this feature, and there were no alternative options, partial refunds, or credits offered. In today’s competitive market, this situation is unacceptable and benefits only the tour company. If considering the Premier package, be aware that the zip line may not be available.
Trez was knowledge and funny. Its was an amazing show. Thanks again Trenz 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳❤️😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The tour was EXCELLENT! Trez was knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. I didn't realize when I booked we would have a comedian guiding us. Not only did he provide expert insight about Hoover Dam we had many laughs while learning about the area. Also, the lunch was very good as well. I highly recommend!
Tour and bus ride was fun and entertaining. Lunch was a great addition to the tour. Would recommend.
