The gin part of the tour didn't happen, not sure of the reason, couldn't understand the explanation. The tour guide was a little hard to understand. Other than that the tour was great, lovely wines, antipasto lunch and finished up with ciders and beers. Yummy!
Hi Brian, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that we had informed you prior to the tour that visiting two breweries would not be possible due to winter operating hours. Instead, we arranged visits to three premium wineries, along with an option to enjoy either beer or gin at one of Napier’s top breweries. This was also communicated by your guide on the day. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour overall. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards, Team Hawke’s Bay Scenic Tours Ltd
What a great day! Kirsty picked us up right at our door, in a very comfortable bus and took us on a lovely tour of some local wineries & fun venues. She made us feel relaxed from the start and the stories about the local area and its wineries was fascinating. The quality of wine we tasted was extraordinary, food delicious and service outstanding. Thank you for a great day and for making our trip to Napier so memorable.
Lovely feedback, we thank you for sharing your experience, Kirsty is great tour guide. Have a safe journey Regards
Kirsty was a delightful host and looked after us. She was very knowledgeable about the area and history. The winery’s tour was both delicious and fascinating. History, wine and yummy food. A really great day.
Thank you for your lovely feedback we are happy that you enjoyed your tour with Kirsty. Safe travels Regards
The whole day was brilliant! Very informative and excellent tour guide. Wines, beers and gin were lovely.
Thank you for your kind words Sophie. Your group certainly made the driver go home with happy memories of the day with you all. Thank you again.
Great day out tasting wine, beer & Gin, many extras including history of Napier & some site seeing of the beautiful township.
Hi jodiet9: Thank you for your great review. Yes, we give the added art deco and history content to make your tour special. More so, I am glad you loved the tasting side of your tour, as that is what you booked. Thanks again - John
My husband and I went on our tour with Tere's Premium Tours and Tere was awesome the best tour ever she had lots of knowledge to share with us about each destination as well as being very friendly and very pleasant to be around. We 100% recommend Tere to book your tours with as you will have a fantastic time. 😃
One of the few tours that I could find which accepted a solo person. Tere was a phenomenal guide, full of energy and with a fantastic sense of humour. The first stop wine tasting set the tone for the day. The next stop had delicious cider and the food was much needed. Afterwards me moved on to gin and then beer. The day flew by and I had a fantastic time. If you're looking to spend a day having a good time, and you like a rather large variety of alcohols this is the tour for you. The vineyard was the only place that really went into explanation, the rest of the places you're on your own. The gin was a different offering for men and for women. As a lady, if you like botanical, flowery drinks this is for you. If not, you might not enjoy what's being offered. I ended up getting a completely different drink afterwards on my own dime but much preferred it. To each their own!
Hi JessHo... Thank you for your fantastic review. Yes, Tere is a fantastic guide, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. The stops as you mentioned are all very different and I would say "the pick of the local bunch". To explain the Gin stop to readers, you are each given 3 different glass full of Gins to try on the day. These are chosen from their range of about 200 Gins.. ? Wow.... Thank you again. - John
