My tour guide is Simon. He is nice, patient and polite. He knows English is not my first language. But he will try his best to use easier English to lets us understand the story behind. That’s an enjoyable and comfortable tour.
I got an e mail that they may have to cancel this tour and it was very unsure if they would do it right up until the day before. That was stressful but I am glad that it was able to proceed because it was so fun! Got to see so many things and great photo opportunities. A wonderful lunch! Matt was our guide and he was so great to help us see things and answer questions.
Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us! We're sorry for the uncertainty in the lead up, and so glad the tour went ahead and you had such a fun day. It's wonderful to hear Matt helped make it so memorable. We hope to see you again! - GM, Cheeky Kiwi Travel
"Best day!!! Trent was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and flexible with our itinerary. The van was modern, clean, and comfortable, and we felt safe the entire time. He went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable Trent was amazing driver. Thank you for a great experience
The best tour to cover the best Auckland has to offer, it’ll be a long day with a lot of driving but you will not be disappointed by the story telling and views along the way to make the experience worth it
This was a great trip. I highly recommend the full day experience if going to be in Auckland for only a short time as gives a picture of Auckland and it's surroundings. For some travelers, it might even help to decide more in depth adventures to take. This was my second trip with Simon in a week. He is absolutely great!!!! He provided great commentary on the things visited, made certain all in group were engaged. In our group, we decided what places to go/see based on options he noted. Oh yes, although I don't drink coffee, those who do enjoyed the place he selected.
Kia ora! So wonderful to hear you enjoyed the full-day Auckland experience and that Simon made both trips so engaging. It’s great when the commentary, flexibility, and little extras like the coffee stop all come together to make the day memorable. Sounds like you really got a good feel for Auckland and its surroundings! We’d love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. Until then, safe travels and thanks again for choosing Cheeky Kiwi! Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
Simon was absolutely brilliant went above and beyond to make sure we seen as much as we could, nothing was too much trouble.
Kia ora! Sounds like a cracking day out around Auckland. Simon has a real knack for making the most of the day, and it’s great to hear he went the extra mile to fit in as much as possible while still keeping things relaxed. A good lunch spot never hurts either, especially on a full day exploring. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and for choosing the Ultimate Auckland Experience with us. We’d love to have you back for another adventure next time you’re in town. Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
I loved all the stops. NZ is amazing. The stops were good but I felt the guide rushed us a bit. Felt she had New Years plans and wanted done early. Kept asking us if we wanted to take the ferry home we had to pay far, rather then the hotel drop off, and it was a rainy day so would have got wet on ferry. But other than that was an amazing day and excursion. Loved all the sites, tour, and people. Guide as well got a little political. I love a good historical story but not so much political.
We had an incredible experience with Pearl. Even though we were part of a group tour, she made the entire trip feel like a private, VIP experience. From start to finish, Pearl was attentive and flexible, constantly checking in to see what we were interested in rather than just sticking to a rigid script. She even went above and beyond the scheduled time to ensure we didn't miss a thing. A huge highlight was our visit to the Auckland War Memorial Museum, where she acted as our own personal guide, sharing deep insights we never would have found on our own. If you are looking for a guide who is professional, kind, and truly cares about your experience, we highly recommend Pearl.
Thanks so much for your amazing review! We’re thrilled to hear that Pearl made your Auckland experience feel like a private, VIP tour. It’s wonderful to know her attentiveness, flexibility, and insights, especially at the War Memorial Museum, made your day so memorable. We really appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back on another Cheeky Kiwi adventure soon!
The experience was amazing!! We met some truly exceptional people and saw areas of Auckland that were scenic and of great cultural significance. Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also passionate about what they do!
Kia ora, That’s lovely to hear. The Ultimate Auckland day is very much about getting beyond the obvious sights, so it’s great to know the scenery, cultural stories and people you met along the way stood out. When a group clicks and the guides can really share what makes those places special, it turns into a pretty memorable day. Thanks for choosing to spend it with us and for taking the time to leave a review. We’d love to have you back out exploring with Cheeky Kiwi again in the future. Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
My tour with Matt on 11/19/2025 was great. He was fun, and as a long time resident of the area, very knowledgable. The morning was very personalized, since it was just me. However, when more folks joined in, he helped us all feel comfortable together.
Kia ora! What a cool way to explore Auckland, especially with that personal start to the day. It’s always a treat when guides can share their own local stories and turn a small group into a friendly crew by lunchtime. Matt takes a lot of pride in showing off his hometown, so he will enjoy hearing this. We’d love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. Until then, safe travels and thanks again for choosing Cheeky Kiwi! Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
