Marta was a fabulous guide … we couldn’t have enjoyed the visit more and would never have appreciated all of the wonderful details without her clever insights!
Excellent activity. Our guide, Tommaso, was extremely knowledgeable and a very pleasant man. The Uffizi is huge and I'm glad he curated the visit so that we learned a lot about a relatively small number of art works rather than trying to cram in everything. This was a great use of time and money. Our guide's expertise added a lot too our experience. Highly recommended.
Incredible way to see an essential visit in Florence. Our tour guide Vanessa was knowledgeable, relatable, enthusiastic and went above and beyond. Our group was a mix of those with little knowledge of the Renaissance and those who knew a lot and she somehow incredibly managed to cater to us all. Great experience and if you can have Vanessa as a tour guide, the visit will be a memory for life.
Excellent tour! Very thorough but not overwhelming, because the choices our guide Vanessa made were so perfect. That’s so important to the experience, because trying to see every single thing would cause mental overload. She really explained the artworks and the history of Firenze in a way that made everything come alive for us. She was never boring, really a fun and passionate approach, but also displayed a very deep scholarly understanding of the art and the artists. 10 out of 10!
We had an exceptional tour of the Uffizi. Our guide, Carmen, was very knowledgeable and personable. She really made the tour a memorable experience!
Vanessa was knowledgeable and engaging. I learned a lot on this tour. Excellent, highly recommended. Without a knowledgeable guide it would have been easy to be overwhelmed and to not have context for what you are looking at.
Recently in Florence my daughter and I went on the small group Uffizi gallery tour. Without a doubt it was the best art gallery tour I have ever experienced. Our guide, Vanessa, was enchanting. Her knowledge and passion for the art and artists were deep, her descriptions were compelling, and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The time flew by and we left the gallery inspired and with a better understanding of the 14th century and renaissance paintings.
I want to celebrate Greta, who led our 10-person private intro to the Uffizi collections last week. She expertly and engagingly navigated the art, our group's varied knowledge levels, AND the surrounding "off-season" crowds. Most of us were first-time visitors, and she adroitly connected so many dots for us in terms of art history and cultural context (history! politics! religion!). I usually do my own research and was nervous about signing up for a tour, and I was delighted with how it turned out.
The tour was truly interesting, an itinerary through the evolution of painting from the 14th century to the 19th century. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and had excellent English!
Great experience hit all the highlights and helped me truly understand the connection between history and the art. Highly recommend especially if you’re on an abbreviated tour there is so much to experience and this was perfect in whittling down to the must see!!!
