We booked through walkers tours, our driver picked us up from the hotel at 5.45am, we were really worried that this would put us at the back of what can be a lot safari jeeps!! However, we drove past them all to our jeep that had been in the entry line for some time and climbed aboard. Sunrise was beautiful on the reserve. There are lots of jeeps lining up to go in when the reserve opens at 6am but they all disappear in different directions so it felt fine. Lots of elephants, water buffalo and crocs to name a few. Bird watchers will love this place. Being just feet from a large adult elephant made our visit. Loved it.

My wife and I had this trip at 27.11.18. After 3 hours trip from Bentota to Udawalawe National park we had a trip in a Jeep for 2,5 hours in the park. We saw 20-25 elephants ,water buffalo and other animals and birds. All very close to the vehicle. The chauffor on the jeep had a great knowlage and was our guide on this trip.

Visited this orphanage there are about 40 baby elephants that all run in to get there milk funny to watch each personality. Great place make sure you wear plenty of mosquito repellent as there are lots there but well worth the visit .before we went in we were given tea at the side of the rd in fine china lol

We booked a day trip through VTS Tours. Mr. Vinodh was very helpful and made arrangements at last moment. We had Mr. Rohan accompanied us throughout the trip. The car was very clean and great condition. Rohan was very knowledgeable from famous tourist spots to smallest of souvenir shops. He never said no to our request. He is very passionate about his job and very respectful. Overall experience is excellent and great trip.

We used VTS Tours for a day trip from Bentota to Udawalawe Safari. The trip was to celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband and is one we both won't forget. Our driver Rohan was amazing, he went out of his way to arrange a special trip to help us celebrate the birthday. Including a birthday cake and celebration by the lake at the safari park. We highly recommend this company and our tour guide Rohan!

<p>Long day in the car but worth every minute. Saw loads of elephants plenty of babies too and some terrific water buffalo lazing in the lake. So glad we took the time to do this!</p>
