Prathapa is an excellent tracker and driver. He chooses his own paths, but sees everything and also good explanations
Had an afternoon jeep safari with Ranga, who was excellent at spotting all manner of hidden birds and creatures. His knowledge and obvious appreciation for the wildlife and his job was very apparent. He even managed to stop an elephant from charging us, but also helped us to understand her protective motherly instinct,as she had a baby with her. We saw many elephants, spotted deer, some crocs and many bird species, even a small herd of wild boar. Thank you Ranga, for memories that will last forever.
My husband and I were very impressed by the knowledge and driving skills of our guide. Remembering that these are not animals in a zoo and you are not guaranteed what you might see, this tour far exceeded our expectations. Despite the rain, we saw many species of birds, a tortoise, crocodiles, wild boar, water buffalo, deer, pea hens and elephants (including a baby) with the help of our guide and took many photos. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!
We had an amazing safari, didn’t have to drive far into the park before seeing lots of wildlife.
We had a wonderful time and our guide and driver Mr. Dinuwan was amazing. He was very careful and attentive while driving. Highly recommended safari
We did the safari with our travel group today, and it was great! Our driver was Nadeer, and he spotted everything. We stopped because he saw a kingfisher during the drive. The tour is definitely recommendable!
Because of the rain coming, we started the safari around 01:00 pm. We were luckily quite alone in the reserve and could observe many animals such as elefants, crocodile, water buffalos, deers, varans, eagles, many birds etc… Our guide and driver, Mr Prathapa that we recommend, has an excellent eye & knowledge to catch the best scene. However, every safari is different as it is still a wild environment with animals moving from one spot to the other to look for food and water. It is not a zoo and we will have to come back for the leapards 😉 ENJOY !
Unbelievable experience saw a new baby not long we highly recommended as a quiet park with loads of elephants and wildlife
What a beautiful safari. The driver drove neatly and quietly through the park. He gave extra information about the animals. He had a keen eye for the animals he saw and then pointed them out to us. He clearly took into account just us that we wanted to enjoy vd elephants and stood for a long time. We were sometimes 10 feet away from elephants. He offered to take a picture of the seaside card, because I didn't see it. It was a top safari.
Excellent tour with Sujith. His knowledge of the park was second to none. Thank you so much for an amazing morning we loved every minute of it.
