Unfortunately we could not spot any whale or dolphin , it became a 2 hour water watching trip.
A fun experience. Really nice boat and crew. We did see lots of dolphins and a couple of seals but no whales or sharks.
We chose to book the 12pm boat ride so that we had enough time to eat breakfast first. When we arrived, the stand was easy to find where we had to check in first before receiving the entry tickets. The boat ride didn’t meet our expectations. It was long, we were cold mostly because I didn’t expect it so I didn’t dress for it and we didn’t see any animals except a couple of birds. I have been on several other dolphin watching tours in other states and the boat crew always stopped the boat in areas that they knew there was a better chance to see them. Today’s boat ride felt like we went out into the ocean for about an hour and turned right back around. TIP: Bring a sweatshirt or a light jacket.
Do it!!! We saw a humpback whale and her calf. The calf did a full body breach. We were able to watch for a while. The staff is amazing!!! So dedicated to making sure you see whales. The even stayed out longer than they were supposed too. I loved this tour.
No whales or dolphins but got free shipping pass for next time

Great tour to experience with family. We saw a ton of dolphins and a few sun fish swimming along the boat side. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It wasn't overcrowded which was perfect for us to either sit or stand out on the deck easily. I would highly recommend while in Oceanside.

You need to bring a jacket or a sweatshirt. We really got fast access to the ocean. We found a pod with hundreds of dolphins. Amazing. They were feeding and we literally got a show of jumping dolphins that surpasses anything SeaWorld could do.

Really enjoyed this trip from Oceanside. Pretty much a must do if staying in the area even just for an opportunity to ride out into the ocean. Friendly young team looking after us. Probably around 20 folk on our trip. A really nice catamaran with a bar, early on we stopped to see Sea Lions resting on a buoy, then we quickly found a very large pod or pods of Common Dolphins, no Whales on this trip but wonderful out in the water. The only small negative observation was that for long periods there was no narration or information as we looked for sea life. I appreciate we were heading miles to try to observe whales but nothing was really said until we made it back to Oceanside Harbor. Still enjoyed it though, would do it again
