Two Countries in One Day: Spain & France

Description
The goal of this experience is to have breakfast in Spain and lunch in France without crossing any physical border! How does that sound? We will leave Bcn at 8:30 in our 7-seater van. First stop is Girona, famous for Game of Thrones. After a light breakfast and a leisurely stroll through the heart of the old town, we'll hop back in our minivan towards France. Before you know it we will enter France. Around lunchtime, we will arrive in Collioure, a village on the south coast of France with a population of about 2000 people. After a short exploration together, we will give you free time to have lunch and relax in front of the Mediterranean Sea. Around 4 o'clock we will return in the direction of Barcelona. PLEASE NOTE: during the summer months, make sure you bring your swimwear and beach towel! IMPORTANT!!! make sure to ALWAYS bring your passport or ID in case of a random police control

A nicely designed tour except a bit heavy on the drive time versus explore time. Our guide was a bit lifeless and didn’t seem to have a great wealth of info to share.
The tour was informative and enjoyable. The time in Girona is spent with a guide so there is no time to freely look, but we were able to wander on our own in France. It is about 4-5 hours of driving total so I wouldn’t recommend for younger kids. Also, there were quite a few stairs so not stroller or disability friendly.
We had a wonderful day in Collioure and in Girona! Collioure is absolutely beautiful. It is definitely worth the visit. The amount of free time was perfect. Our tour guide Antoine was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this tour.
Easy link up, friendly guide, and fun stops. We enjoyed exploring Collouire and dipping our feet in the water. Girona was fun as well. Antoine, our tour guide, was great. We didn’t feel rushed anywhere. We expected to be in a big group, but there were only 6 of us total.
The tour guide made the trip even more worth it than we expected. He was knowledgeable, fun, informative and drove very safe and responsible. Papa Bear, thanks for an amazing day.
Excellent guide and good pace. Beautiful towns visited. The time given at leisure in Collioure was perfect to look and have lunch. Highly recommend!
Amazing tour! Fabrizzio was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable. We loved the small group size, beautiful stops in Collioure and Girona, and having plenty of time to explore. Highly recommend!
Tony our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He took us to 2 cool towns and gave us time to explore, shop and grab lunch while in Collioure. He even snagged us some free local cheese. If you have a free day, I would highly suggest this tour. Well worth the money.
Great way to spend the last day of our hectic trip. My 17 year old loved it. He says it was fun and educational. Would recommend
Charming city and town. Our tour guide, Matilde, was courteous and knowledgeable. 100% recommended! Can’t miss if you are a game of thrones fan.
