Tuscan Cooking Class and Dinner in Florence
Description
On this course you can learn to cook a classic Tuscan meal, prepared with seasonal and organic ingredients. In a top class cookery school you will be able to make a four-course meal (starter, first course, second course and dessert) under the expert guidance of a multilingual chef. The course will be followed by dinner with the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by a good Tuscan wine and a fun and friendly atmosphere. Please note that the class will be divided into groups with a maximum of 15 people for a more personal experience.

- The cooking class will be operated by professional Chefs. The class might be divided in smaller groups, and each Chef will look after 15 participants
- It is mandatory to arrive at the meeting point at the mentioned check in time. In case of delay it will not be possible to join the group, nor to have a refund or reschedule the course.
- Please inform in advance of food intolerances or allergies
- Severe and contact celiacs may not attend the event due to probable contamination.

Our chef was extremely kind and professional. However, the content of the course did not correspond to what was indicated at the time of booking: we were expecting a Tuscan cooking class with risotto and meatloaf, but it was more about pasta and chicken Marsala. We were slightly disappointed as we already had another pasta course planned. Nevertheless, the experience remained pleasant thanks to the chef, who was attentive from beginning to end. This situation was in no way his responsibility.

Excellent hands on class. Made a 4 course meal that we got to enjoy at the end. The instructor was knowledgeable and helpful. Ideal activity for a solo traveller. I will definitely make the pasta at home. Thank you!

We had a blast making great food. Our group was fun and the chef did a great job of making sure everyone was comfortable while cooking.

My husband woke up sick on the morning of our cooking course, despite the policy of needing 24 hours to cancel, Viator responded quickly to my messages and contacted the service provider directly and asked if we could reschedule, which they kindly did. The Tuscan Cooking Course was fabulous, learnt so much and the food we made was delicious. It was also a great way to meet some fellow travellers.

Really enjoyed the steps of making the food. The booklet that I got with the full recipe. Our assistant was very helpful especially with the pasta making.

Teacher was thorough, and simplified the processes and recipes, but her lovely heavy Italian accent was sometimes difficult to understand (English speaking class). The recipe sheets we received didn’t necessarily represent the recipes we made. Everyone performed the same tasks for each recipe. I took another cooking class in Florence several years ago and we made the same recipes. However, every person made a different course. For this cooking class, everyone contributed to each course. I finally learned to make pasta! The food we made was delicious! I didn’t realize class would take place in a cooking school, so atmosphere was less homey than I would have liked. Classmates were fun tho and made up for it. Stingy with the wine for dinner

Naomi our instructor was a great teacher. She made it very enjoyable and informative. We always got a chance to meet some really friendly people in class. We made all 4 courses which is more than we did in other classes.

My daughter and I did this class together. I cannot say enough good things about this cooking class experience and the value received for the money. The setting for eating dinner is lovely and the class area is an authentic culinary school setting. Portions are substantial and delicious. Our teacher, Chef Kathlena was so sweet and an excellent teacher. Meeting new people during the experience made it fun! By far my favorite experience of the trip. We made an appetizer, pasta and tomato sauce, chicken, and dessert. Plus two glasses of chianti. Recipe booklets at the end make it possible to repeat at home. Learned a few new tricks for cutting onions, garlic, and basil I never knew of. 4 hours flew by! They will make exceptions and double check day of for dietary restrictions or allergies. Bery clean environment and lots of hand washing between prep sessions by participants, so felt at ease in that way. We just loved it! Thank you!
