Tuscan Cooking Class





Description
I'm Katia and me and my uncle Fulvio run the Tuscan cooking class in our family farmhouse. We are 4 km far from the fantastic town of San Gimignano and we teach you how to prepare a real Tuscany meal but most important we teach you how the food should taste. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to spent in a real Tuscany family. We'll make a lot of typical Tuscany antipasti, then we prepare primi piatti, and we make one type of pasta hand made, two different sauces for pasta, and then a second course with meat.

We not only had a blast and laughed our heads off, but we also learned a lot. Our hosts Katia and Fulvio were absolutely delightful. Fulvio led our cooking class, and as beginners, his framework was perfecto: provide simple, accessible recipes while sharing easy, memorable tricks in the kitchen that make a big impact on the dishes being prepared. Highly recommended!
A fantastic way to spend an evening in Tuscany. We enjoyed learning how to make pasta, pasta sauce, bruschetta and chicken saltimbocca. All paired with wine what more could you want. Our host, Katya was so incredibly friendly. We loved it!
A fantastic cooking class and genuine Tuscan cooking. With just two of us, Fulvio made us welcome and made sure we were hands on. He shared his knowledge and his humor! The food was nothing short of amazing despite its simplicity, and each course paired with a beautiful wine. Highly recommended.
What an amazing experience! We enjoyed every minute of learning, bantering and connecting. Fulvio is a fantastic host! He made us feel welcome and explained all of the process so simply. I have a renewed appreciation for simple food, good wine and great company. Great food do not have to take hours to prepare! This was an exceptional experience!!
Our host, Fulvio, created a beautiful experience for our entire family! (ages 7 to 70). We learned how to take a few basic ingredients and create a delicious family feast of handmade pasta, 2 sauces, and bruschetta accompanied by wine and cheese. We can’t wait to share our new skills with family and friends back home.

It was fun, educational, and delicious!!!! Katia was amazing. She made pasta making simple- used ingredients we can all find, and made this experience one of our favorites during our trip to Italy.
This was the most fun I've had cooking! Katia was an absolute delight! She showed us how to make simple pasta (quite easy!) and explained how regular Italians normally eat. We made bruschetta from fresh ingredients, two delicious pasta dishes (first course) and a protein second course (I think it was chicken?). Each was made with very few ingredients but extremely yummy! Katia also let us know what we are doing wrong in our regular cooking of pasta dishes at home 😜. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn about Italian culture through eating.
Fulvio made our visit an extremely special and memorable one. He is a pleasure to spend the day with and truly a master chef. His knowledge of the best ingredients and how to maximize flavor showed in what was ultimately the best meal of our 2-week trip. Both pasta dishes and sauces that we made, he made very straight-forward and provided clear instructions - so much so that I'm looking forward to trying them out at home. I'm extremely far from an expert chef - but for one day, I felt like one. Getting away from the busy city for a day was also a welcome respite for the family and there isn't a much more beautiful setting than offered here.
Katia was exceedingly generous with her knowledge and passion for cooking ‘Italian style food from Tuscany’ . We had such a great evening learning lots of great tips and eating such delicious food. Now we have to replicate the meal for our family when we return home! We highly recommend this cooking class. We loved everything about our experience: the view from the kitchen window, the wines, their extra virgin olive oil, learning to make pasta and use simple ingredients to balance the flavours of each dish and celebrate the ingredients. Best of all was our host Katia. Thank you!
