Truffle Hunting and Lunch Wine Tasting Experience at Cortecorbo

The best experience ever. I highly recommend for families, businesses, young people. We did an hour of successful truffle hunting with super friendly dogs, then traditional flavorful lunch and wine tasting. Adults and kids were mesmerized.

This was our favorite day of a 9-day trip to the Amalfi coast / surrounding area. Our driver Nico picked us up from our accommodation in Minori and gave us a safe, scenic, and informative drive to the spot for the truffle hunting. The truffle hunting was such a unique and fun experience. We loved seeing the dogs in action, and they found several truffles during our time together while Giulio and Antonio shared more about the technique of truffle hunting. Fascinating! Then the winery lunch...oh my goodness...so much delicious and plentiful food (tons of antipasti, two pastas, main entree, desserts) and wine. All homemade from the sweetest, most welcoming family you can imagine. Antonia is an amazing cook, and you feel like you're enjoying a meal with the family. We also got to try all six varieties of their wine (white, rose, red) and it was hard to choose which bottles to bring home (we had limited room in our luggage). Highly recommend this excursion for an authentic and memorable Italian experience.

Our experience at Cortecorbo Winery was absolutely magical from start to finish. The day began with a wonderful truffle hunt in the mountains. Our guide was fantastic, and it was so interesting to watch the two dogs work their magic, successfully finding multiple truffles during our hike through the scenic woods. After the hunt, Antonio—who was incredibly friendly and welcoming—took our group back to the winery. We had the pleasure of enjoying a meal curated by Antonia, who is truly an exceptional chef. She prepared multiple delicious dishes that felt like authentic, home-cooked Italian perfection. A special highlight for us was how accommodating they were with dietary needs; Antonia offered wonderful gluten-free alternatives that were just as incredible as the rest of the menu. Between the stellar wines, the heartwarming hospitality, and the unique adventure in the woods, this was easily one of the best experiences of our trip. They really make you feel like part of the family!.

Truffle hunting in Avellino with Marta the dog was an incredible experience. The crisp and cool day made for a perfect setting as our group followed her through the hills, where she expertly searched and found several truffles. It was an amazing day that was further enhanced by the incredible wine and food at Cortecorbo Winery. The home-cooked pastas with truffles and the accompanying wines were simply delicious. This was so much fun! We got to see Marta (the dog) in action. We learned about the techniques and training that goes into truffle hunting. The experience was followed by an authentic homemade lunch by the winemaker Antonia. Everything was delicious and paired with amazing wines from CorteCorbo!

Beautiful experience! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Mrs. Antonia, a very nice woman but above all a great cook. We tasted many delicious dishes, one better than the other. We also tasted 6 types of wine, all very good, but the one that made me fall in love was the taurasi! Besides that we had also associated with truffle hunting. A unique experience, we went to the mountains with Giulio and his beautiful dog "diva" and witnessed the search for truffles. It was a unique experience! Highly recommended!

This was the best experience of my life, I love truffles, food and good wine so I couldn't have asked for better. We started the day by searching for and finding black truffles in Bagnoli, guided by giulio (who explained to us how his business works) and his dogs. We then had lunch with a menu entirely based on truffles, incredible dishes cooked by an incredible lady and owner of the Cortecorbo company, Antonia. Not to mention Antonio, we can say the sommelier of the winery as well as the organiser of this fantastic initiative, who explained to us in detail the wines from his splendid cellar. The experience is designed for those who love nature, gastronomy and good wine, and is a unique opportunity to discover the world of truffles in a super cosy and authentic atmosphere.
