Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a small team of true foodies and our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine... You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village of Omodos. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, carob honey, olive oil and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch. • Bespoke experience - small groups of no more than 7 • Meet locals & artisans making traditional products • Stop at small villages and discover the scenic Troodos mountains • Includes door-to-door transport, tastings & traditional meze lunch with drinks *We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because our hosts are also busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops will be included

We'll pick you up from a Limassol location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. When booking with Cyprus Taste Tours - you'll be supporting a small local business and helping to keep the culture & traditions of the island alive!
We'll tour the Troodos mountain villages for a full day of foodie fun! *We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life - we cannot guarantee which stops we'll be including... However you can be sure that you'll visit 4-5 fantastic places within the Troodos mountain villages and experience a foodie day out like no other! Some of the possible spots are listed below but others cannot be found on Tripadvisor and will not appear on the list. All applicable entrance fees, tastings and lunch costs are included in the price.
A beautifully rustic village in the Limassol region where you'll find lots of traditional food products and wine! You'll also enjoy an authentic meze lunch with drinks included at one of the local tavernas here.
An opportunity to visit a historical monastery and explore the grounds.
You'll also have the chance to explore the village museums.
We'll visit this fantastic family-owned, boutique winery where we'll tour the premises to see the production facilities, talk about wine-making, visit the cellar and complete a wine tasting. This winery only produces 50,000 bottles a year - making it a small boutique winery. Although you may find some of their wines in specialist shops - many of their labels can only be found here at the winery and your tasting will surely include some of these. We'll learn all about the 5000yrs+ wine history of Cyprus and try the celebrated sweet wine Commandaria.
We'll be exploring the rural areas and culture of Cyprus through the world of food & wine! The timings stated on this description page are a guideline only and are subject to change - if you need to get back to your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE!

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER BOOKINGS THROUGH VIATOR / TRIPADVISOR - PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY. This tour runs on specific dates - if the available dates aren't suitable and you would like to take part in a food / wine experience on another day then please check Cyprus Taste Tours for our other options as we have activities running on every day of the week. PLEASE NOTE: We offer bespoke journeys into the Troodos mountain range and therefore the itineraries stated are subject to change with the season and the locals available to host us. The timings are a guideline and if you must be back at your accommodation at a certain time - YOU MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. PLEASE NOTE: The Troodos mountain range spans Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos and Nicosia and it is in the mountainous areas of these districts that you find the rural villages of Cyprus. This tour DOES NOT visit Troodos Square and will only visit various villages within the Troodos mountain region.

Thank you to Cyprus Taste Tours for a wonderful tour in Cyprus. All the wine houses were awesome but Ayia Mavri winery stuck out. To meet the lovely Mr Ioannis Ioannidou, the 90 year old owner was a delight. The food on the trip was awesome and the people - just lovely. Our tour guide Theodora was so informative and it was great to spend time seeing the scenery. We loved every minute THANKYOU!!
It is an experience that I strongly advise all those who wish to know a little bit better the food and wines of Cyprus, as well as the landscapes of the interior and the way of life of the populations in the villages and villages of the mountains. I liked the tour immensely, it was a wonderful day, with sun and little wind, and I traveled only in the company of the guide Panicos and another tourist. So, almost a private tour...! The car, spacious and comfortable, was driven with safety and professionalism by the guide, congratulations for wine tasting and local food were all very good, with quality and without rush. The guide was very friendly and informative, clarifying all our doubts and questions. The pickup and arrival to the hotel took place within the scheduled time and there were no incidents. Highlight the lunch (type “meze”), of great abundance and good quality. I advise future participants to take only one light breakfast (or even none), since there will be more than enough food and drink throughout the day...!! The company was very professional and made a question of contacting me by email and WhatsApp to reconfirm all the details. Not to lose!

It was simply a great tour. We had actually booked a German-speaking tour from another provider, but it was canceled due to too few participants. So we had to rebook, which turned out to be our luck. We rebooked to a slightly more expensive tour, but we definitely got our money's worth. With Helena (who also spoke German) who made such an effort to translate many things for us, we hit the jackpot. The whole tour was fantastic. Thank you, Helena.

Hotel pick-up, great wine tasting and a good late local meze lunch, as well as visit to the small village Lomodos, a meat smoking facility + shop and a rose factory. The later producing all kind of rose flavoured drink alternatives and beaty products. Theodora was a great guide, THANK YOU! Highly recommended

Had Georgina, she was absolutely fabulous in creating a great atmosphere and ensured that she remembered everyones names and that everyone was included. Brilliant wealth of knowledge and was really personable. There was 6 of us (2x couples and 2x solo) and that was just the right size of group for all of us to mix with who we wanted to. Total time being in the car for the experience was about 7/8hours long, had time to take photos of surroundings, to wonder off in one of the small towns, take our time with eating and drinking, this isn't including the time to be picked up or dropped back off. Price for this ticket I think is fair, especially with what we got to experience and learn with Georgina leading the way. She was truely the make-it-or-break-it where she definitely made it an amazing experience. Thank you very much!
