Itinerary
Your guide will take you through the narrow streets where you will have the opportunity to admire the traditional architecture of the village. We will stop at the GAVALAS winery, where you will taste the famous wines.
Then, off to Emborio's medieval fortress for incredible photos with a visit to a café for some aromatic coffee and delicious home-made desserts!
On our way to the farm we will drive by the Lighthouse, located at the southernmost point of the island for some breathtaking views of Santorini and beyond.
Our next stop is a visti to a Local farm. It’s no secret that the most delicious food is usually found in places where you rarely go on your own. Your guide, a local, himself, will take you to some cozy little places where traditional recipes from family secrets are passed down through generations. Enjoy a hearty lunch in Akrotiri at a family place and feel the local ambiance! This mid-day meal, full of Santorini pleasures, is sure to leave you satisfied for the rest of the day.

Pickup Locations & Times
You may ask to be picked up from any location on Santorini. Individual cruise ship travelers disembark at the Old Port in Fira. We can pick you up form the exit of cable car , in Fira. Our guide will be waiting you with a sign written your name on it at the exit of cable car.

My husband , my elderly mother(88) and myself enjoyed an amazing day on this tour. Our guide Natalia was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour- the villages we visited( and the local history), the food and wine and any subject we wished to know about. This was real knowledge not a pre- rehearsed talk. This six hour tour flew by and is punctuated by regular stops with no great rush to leave any of the places visited . The guide explained in detail where we were about to go and what we were doing which was of particular help to my Mum who, despite being very fit, is 88 at the end of the day! She was able to cope with all the hills and steps. I would highly recommend this trip- as my review titl e states - this s more than just food- but the food is excellent!
Our guide was wonderful and customized the tour to fit us. All the food was excellent! This tour explored the southern part of Santorini, so do not expect to go to Oia. Wonderful area to explore!
