Ridiculous tour, a lot of time to board, most of the time of the tour is spent inside the boat. On the island of the frade for a little moment for bathing, place well without grace. In Itaparica we are left directly in a restaurant indicated by them, not informing about other possibilities. Just give me time to lunch and come back. All agencies make the same scenario
Perfect tour of All Saints Bay with 2 stops: Itaparica the largest island in the bay and Frades island the most charming and beautiful
Cheapest option in many ways. Dirty old boat, FILTHY dangerous bathrooms, super unsanitary food prep (wash fruit in reg water, no gloves, cutting with unsanitized knife... Terrible live "music" blasting, bad singing, worse playing except cavaquinho. Frades ok, good landing etc. Itaparica TERRIBLE! No, not that good. Transfer by dangerous water transfer to underpowered dirty motor boats to / from shore. Everything slippery and unprotected. A couple of slightly disabled people and seniors were literally lifted like potato sacks off / onto the boats. How in the world do they get away with this?? A matter of time till someone is seriously hurt or killed. Shore tour disjointed and unprofessional. Return to boats worse than arrival. Multiple boats to multiple schooners, no identification, just yelling. Transfer more dangerous than coming in. Food establishments good both islands. But pricey, not bad. Beaches nice. Do it again? NO *****G WAY!!! Pay a bit more and dee if things are better. Honestly, a scene out of a shipwreck movie.
Nothing exceptional, but a good experience and worth checking out. Once loaded on to the boat, they waited over hour and half before moving - in direct heat, based on where you get seats it can be rough. The boat is packed. Probably not enough life vests or safety equipment for everyone on board. The second island is pretty much a lunch spot where you either purchase a buffet or pay by the pound. If you pay by pound expect roughly $30 per person. Food was decent. Energy is great, staff are welcoming.
Excellent tour, Tiago was very friendly and attentive. Recommended
We had a peaceful and enjoyable time. I want to come next time.
This was a very fun experience. We were late due to heavy traffic and Uber ran out of gas but there gate agents were so accommodating and helped us get on the next boat. We were able to meet the host there and he helped us navigate. The boat ride had lots of music from a samba band, dancing, and good drinks. Everything felt safe and very friendly. I highly recommend this tour company. If I had to do it again, I would choose to just stay at Frades Island for the day.
Agradecemos!
The boat was very uncomfortable for four hours of total sailing. In addition, it should be reported that in order to reach Itaparica a boat must be transferred because there is no dock, which makes it difficult for elderly people or people with reduced mobility.
Sunny Sunday, gather the class and we will make such a tour of the Frades Islands and Itaparica by Apolônio Turismo. To begin with, it's a tour for tourists. Ninety minutes from the Nautical Terminal of Salvador to the Ponta de Guadalupe on Frades Island. Landing at the Pier and stay on the beach. The entrance fee to Frades Island in the value of thirty-six reais is not included in the package. In the first half of the tour, a pagoda band animated the gallery with covert "suggestions" of fifteen reals also paid apart. One hour and a half from the beach in Isla dos Frades and we drive for another forty minutes to the Island of Itaparica for lunch at the Restaurant Manguezal where the service even surprises in being a restaurant of support to tourism. I'll talk about the restaurant later. On the island of Itaparica there is the option of a historic tour to the center of the island at the cost of thirty-five reais not included in the package. The tour delivers what it promises. For those who entered the ship, thinking that there would be stops for bathing along the route, there was a lesson to be better informed of the next time. Ah! The tourist guide of Apolônio Turismo is a figure! In addition to providing correct historical information even with archaeology, he is an eximio dancer. The boarding staff is discreet, polite and attentive without melody exaggerations. There is bar service at the escuna, but it is also allowed to bring the own drinks and food.
Beautiful day on beautiful islands. Framing at the top of the reservation until arrival.
