Today we had a tour with dear archaeologist and new friend Khaled Omar in Cairo - pyramids and new museum. It was all perfect from pick up to our departure. Khaled was very kind, loving, respectful and full of knowledge, which he shared with us passionately. He gave us an excellent tour through the great history of Egypt. He was able to explain and teach us a lot, so we learned a lot. We closed Khaled as a friend in our heart and left this day behind as a unique experience. The experience was really good, the best driver ever. He picked us up from the hotel to the Pyramids, then from Pyramids to the Great Museum and then back to the hotel. He brought us water without any payment and was really nice to us. In general it was an amazing experience because we decided the time of the pick up, hou many hours we wanted to be in every place and the driver was totally at our disposal. The only thing that you should improve is that when you sell the ticket, please explain to the customers that (for example at pyramids) will be there a person to help you to scan the tickets, because we thought we had to buy it there.
I was surprised by the negative. Despite its beauty, its history, I thought the pyramids were in a more deserted place. I was disappointed to be glued to the city of Cairo. Rich for its history, its culture, but that unfortunately for tourists, becomes boring by the amount of people who try to fool us all the time.
