Our first stop is the awe-inspiring Temple of Medinet Habu, the burial temple of Ramses III. This significant religious monument features an impressive entrance, 63 meters wide and 22 meters tall, adorned with a depiction of Pharaoh Ramses III punishing prisoners. Spend an hour exploring the intricate carvings and rich history encapsulated within its walls.
Next, venture to the Valley of the Nobles, a burial ground housing over 500 tombs belonging to the Egyptian aristocracy. Delve into the well-preserved tombs, admired for their remarkable decorations. Due to being less enticing to grave robbers, these tombs offer a glimpse into the opulent lives of the elite. Spend an hour uncovering the stories within these historic resting places.
Our guide will then lead you to the final stop, Deir el-Medina—an ancient Egyptian village that served as the home to artisans responsible for crafting the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Having done the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshetsup's Tomb etc, we had a spare day to do this tour and what a revelation. The Valley of the Workers was quiet but unusually spectacular and contains some of the best painted tombs on the West Bank, if not all Egypt. The Temple of Rameses 3 is an overlooked gem and although the Valley of the Nobles was less well -preserved, still worth a visit.

He visited Medinahab, the Valley of the Nobles and Der El Medina. Aladdin, our guide, is a truly amazing person. I had a lot of knowledge and I was able to spend a good time while learning about history. We also knew the photo spots and took many wonderful family photos, which made the trip enjoyable.
