Booked last minute and didn’t know exactly what to expect. We were picked up at the door of our B&B in Merida by an awesome guide who conveyed us to the port, and we took a short ride over to the island on a boat with the very nice concessions ladies who were going to set up shop. Once there, there is nothing to do but relax! Wooden swings and palapas, birds and fish so close you can almost touch them - an unspoiled paradise. Progreso is nice, but the islands are definitely the highlight of the trip.
Very relaxing day- not so much a tour but more so private transportation. The driver was very helpful and friendly. We loved our private time on the island and we would recommend this experience if considering.
