This was probably my favorite tour in Italy despite walking in 96 degree weather. Tomasso was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable taking us to areas off the beaten path and immersing us in the history of Venice . It was great to escape the heavily touristed area and learn about Venetian life. He even made a restaurant reservation for us at the end and it was clearly a local place as all the gondoliers were having lunch there and a small wedding party came in to celebrate. This tour is a must!
I paid for this tour and followed up twice to check whether I was confirmed for it which I was. In the end, they never sent me the details of where to meet or any information about the tour, but still charged me and now won't refund the money to me. I would not recommend this tour or using Viator either.
Nicola was a great tour guide. He took us to parts of Venice we never would have seen. He also gave us time to get water and snacks when needed. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Venice as well as giving us a glance into the local culture now.
The tour was a great way to take in the town and get acquainted with the fascinating history as well as the multitude of restaurants and shops. Our tour guide, Michaela, was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.
A totally brilliant walking tour with Matteo. We lucked out as the other 10 people who booked were a no show. Matteo was a knowledgeable and we learnt so much about Venice.
Recommend this tour showing hidden gems and revealing little known facts about Venice. Our tour guide Nico was terrific--both knowledgeable and passionate about his city.
