We had a great time exploring Quito with Roberto. We were first picked up directly from our hotel (communication by WhatsApp was flawless) by Roberto and his father (excellent driver). From there we first visited the Virgen early in the morning before driving to the cable car and going for a short hike to the "Swing in the clouds". After that we drove to the "Center of the world" where we did a museum tour. We then got some lunch and finally visited the Mitad del Mundo monument. Overall it was a fantastic day well worth it. Roberto is a great and very knowledgable guide.
Enough time to visit. Would make another trip with them.
Roberto and Jorge were soo lovely. Roberto is very informative and was easy going. He took us too a lot of great sites and was very helpful. Would highly recommend to others and would book with them again next time I'm in Ecuador!
Got a private tour. The tour guide charged me twice for 90 minute tour then give me 25% back when I questioned him. Looking back, it wasn’t worth it. It’s just something you have to do but don’t pay more than $30 for it.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify a few important points regarding your experience. You joined our tour almost a year ago as a private tour participant, since there were no additional travelers booked for that departure. The refund you received corresponded to a duplicate reservation/payment that was made in error during the booking process, and we promptly returned the extra amount paid once the issue was identified. Our guide informed you about this situation at the beginning of the tour, and the matter had also been communicated in advance due to the confusion caused by the duplicate reservation. We always strive to handle these situations with transparency and professionalism. We would also like to clarify that the tour duration is not 90 minutes, as mentioned in your review. The experience lasts approximately 8 to 9 hours, exactly as described in our listing and itinerary. For this reason, we are surprised both by the content of this review and the long delay in posting it, especially considering that the duplicate payment issue was resolved and the tour was delivered exactly as advertised. We remain committed to providing clear communication, fair service, and authentic experiences to all our travelers. Best regards, Quilla Tours Ec
We found it very informative and interactive activities. Museum was interesting and great photo opportunities
First we made the full day tour in Quito, Middle of the World, The virgin and câble car. We were very satisfied and then spent another day with Roberto, in Mindo, watching hundreds of hummingbirds and butterflies in the cloud forest and visiting a chocolate factory. Overall, Roberto is a very good guide: He speaks very well English and his explanations are quite clear. We learned a lot of details about Quito’s and Ecuador’s history. He told us also about fauna, flora and traditions. And last but not least, he is a very good and safe driver too! So it was a really worthy experience to discover Quito and Mindo with him. Many thanks Roberto for these two days we spent with you!
It’s a great way to start seeing Quito. We enjoyed all the marvels (science) of being on the equator. Views of Quito at top of cable car- though this can be weather dependent and our guide was really mindful and changed itinerary around so we could cater to the weather to get a good view from the top. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide and driver. Highly recommended!
It was a family tour. I could go anywhere I wanted to go. They responded to my sudden illness. Even families with children can participate with confidence. Experiences at the equator are recommended! I'm really glad I went.
Our guide was wonderful! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the history, and indigenous cultures of Ecuador. It was a must do if you visit Quito.
We had an amazing day and would highly recommend it. Johan was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Ecuadorian history and the environment. He explained everything clearly and made the experience engaging without it ever feeling rushed. The stops were fantastic, especially the Middle of the World, the cable car with its incredible views, and El Panecillo. If you are planning a trip to Ecuador, we would recommend spending at least two or three days in Quito to do it justice, and this tour is a perfect way to see some truly memorable sights (would also recommend at least half a day to do another tour to see the old town). Patricio was a brilliant driver and made us feel very safe throughout the day. Overall, a very well organised tour and a wonderful way to experience Quito. Well worth doing while you are in Quito.
