Second stop: Imbassai Beach Then we visit Imbassaí, one of the most sought after beaches in the Green Line. Here you will find a unique setting where the river and the sea meet, creating swimming options in fresh and salty waters. Surrounded by dunes and native vegetation, Imbassaí also offers rustic bars and restaurants by the river, perfect for an authentic experience of the local culture. Getting to the beach is part of the adventure: you can cross the river in a chalana (crossing fee not included) or walk through the natural landscape of rocks and dunes. Withdrawals are made in hotels and hostels located on the main route from Salvador. If your accommodation is off the route, i.e. at a residential address (such as Airbnb or similar), we will check the possibility of including it. We ask you to contact us. We will be happy to indicate the nearest meeting point for your boarding. The definitive boarding time at your hotel will be informed the day before the service. The experience was great, even with a little rain the walk was very good. Our guide Ale was sensational in the welcoming and careful with everyone. Amazing walks! Despite the cloudy weather and intermittent garoa, we managed to enjoy a lot. The guide Alê, from Luck Receptivo, is extremely attentive, competent, friendly, high astral and knows how to pass valuable information and great recommendations. I went in three days with her and I recommend. In Imbassaí, we ate the fish with grilled shrimp and banana, which she suggested. It was the best choice! Delicious lunch and nice village. It is worth taking the river bath and taking the boat transportation, which cost only five reais. On the second day, Praia do Forte and Guarajuba. The village of Praia do Forte is very well structured and the highlight is the visit to Project Tamar. The beach has several stones, but it is possible to enter in some points. Guarajuba is great for lunch and bathing. On the third day, we went to Itaparica Island and Frades Island. An animated tour, with live samba in the escuna. There is not much time to know Itaparica, just a few points and enjoy the quiet beach. Still, it was good to have an idea and be able to plan a longer visit in the future. There are historic buildings and beautiful 18th-century churches. Frades Island is already more isolated and has little structure. One shift was enough to see one of the villages and stay on the practically private beach. I am immensely grateful to Luck for her experience, especially in the person of the guide Alê, who made memorable and unique days possible for us.
