Great São Paulo tour

We had a wonderful experience with kaali who was our tour guide. She has a wonderful sense of hospitality and a real understanding of the needs of her guests. She understood our interests and guided us thoughtfully throughout the day and hit the main sites for us given our limited time. She also had a great connection with street artists and others that made our encounters and our tour very special. Thanks for a great tour! Really enjoyed our time in São Paulo and highly recommend her and the tour.

The Concordia Farm, a journey to the past and our history.

Unforgettable experience, a journey in time. We were very well received by the couple Mr Chiquito and his wife D. Rosie owners of this oldest farm in the municipality. The well preserved 1595 Casarão, the Senzala, the food prepared on wood fire with impeccable flavor, the feet of coffee , the fruits of the trees that turn into jelly and liquors , the coffee toaster machines, the taste and aroma of pure grain and the cachaça alambiques contributed to make this tour wonderful!!! I recommend!!!

Wonderful tour of the Concordia Farm

The experience was very gratifying. The Fazenda Concórdia founded around 1595 shows a bit of the history of colonial Brazil, long before the great barons of the coffee settled in SP. The guide Milly and the driver Ailton were very kind and professional. And the couple Rose and Chiquito, who are in charge of the farm, make no effort to tell the history of the place, serve a delicious meal and present each of the farm’s spaces. It was worth escaping the city and enjoying a day in the countryside.

Sensational tour

The farm really brings a trip to the past, really fantastic 1595 year's casarão, the tour also enables the visit to the senzala, area of the coffee machinery, alambique and cafesal. The receptivity of the hosts is sensational, they welcomed us with a wonderful breakfast, with products made on the farm and after the visit to the farm served an exceptional lunch. Really a walk that is worth it!!!

Overall a bit frustating and overpriced

I’m Brazilian visiting family, and my partner and I wanted to experience something culturally significant to the country, such as coffee. Unfortunately, this tour didn’t meet my expectations, especially considering the price. Based on the tour description, I expected a more detailed and immersive experience than what was delivered. The bathroom facilities were quite poor and uncomfortable to use — the water wasn’t turned on when we arrived, and there was no soap available in the men’s bathroom. Our tour guide had limited English proficiency and didn’t show strong knowledge of the history of the place, which made it difficult for my partner to follow and enjoy the experience. Since I speak Portuguese, I ended up helping with translations so the tour would be more understandable for him — something I didn’t expect to have to do. It’s worth mentioning that our guide was not the usual guide for this tour, as the main guide was unavailable that day, which may have contributed to some of these issues. The food offered was good but very simple, and far below what I expected for the price and for a full-day tour. I was told that the menu changes depending on the number of visitors, but this wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the tour description. The description also stated that we would visit one of two farms depending on availability. However, the guide mentioned that the other farm (in Jundiaí) has a more “luxurious” feel and focuses more on the coffee production process — exactly the type of experience I was hoping for — as opposed to the one we visited (in Itu), which had more of a small, family-run atmosphere. This difference wasn’t mentioned in the description, and I believe it would have helped set more accurate expectations. Additionally, the visit to the coffee plantation we did see felt rushed and overly simplified. I was hoping for a deeper, more engaging explanation, especially given how important coffee is to Brazilian culture. That said, we did enjoy the roasting process demonstration and the brief explanation on how cachaça is made — both were interesting and well presented. At the end of the day, the car had a mechanical issue, and we had to return home by Uber — which the guide paid for — but it was not a smooth ride. On a positive note, the tour guide was kind and genuinely tried to help despite the limitations, and the family who ran the farm were extremely welcoming and hospitable. The coffee we purchased there is of very good quality, and we were kindly given a coffee liqueur as a gift, which we really appreciated. Overall, the tour has potential, but several aspects need improvement before I could recommend it.

Operator response

Dear Tourist, Thank you very much for your feedback. As explained on TripAdvisor, we work with two farms: one more “luxurious” in Jundiaí and another more rustic and traditional in Cabreúva (Itu). We offer both because availability can vary by date. In fact, many of our guests truly appreciate the rustic farm, as it is an original, historic property that has remained largely preserved, with only a few necessary improvements over time. This farm in Itu dates back to 1595 and is still run by the same family, who were born and raised there. Their way of life reflects the authentic experience of living on a traditional Brazilian farm. They produce their own coffee, their own cachaça, make their own liqueurs, and cook comforting, homemade farm-style meals with great care. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the flavors of the food. Breakfast and individual lunch dishes are always prepared in the traditional style of the countryside. Regarding the car battery issue, the guide informed me immediately, and the agency covered the Uber so you wouldn’t have to wait. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us continue improving so we can always offer the best experience possible. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

A Coffee Farm with a lot of history.

Visiting this coffee farm in São Paulo was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Brazil. The farm has been in the same family for many generations, and you can feel the love, history, and tradition in every corner. In the house beautifully preserved antiques to the rich stories shared by the owners. The husband and wife who run the farm were the most incredible hosts. They are warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do. They treated us like family and served a delicious homemade Brazilian breakfast and lunch that we'll never forget. Every dish was made with care, and of course, everything was accompanied by the most amazing coffee we've ever tasted. The coffee was fresh, bold, and full of character. Walking through the farm, learning about the coffee-making process. This tour was a heartfelt journey into Brazilian culture, tradition, and hospitality. If you're anywhere near São Paulo, do not miss this experience. It’s a true hidden gem and a must for coffee lovers! Adi did an amazing job with translating everything for us in English.

Behind a coffee bean there is a world to discover and understand

The visit was very interesting and informative and above all reflective on the past of slavery and the presence of Italians. The Fernanda guide was very nice and very considerate to answer all our questions. Not knowing all the Portuguese helped us a lot the presence of Ornella to translate. excellent breakfast and also lunch. It was a beautiful day that I will carry in my heart

Operator response

Grazie mille! Siamo felici che la visita vi sia piaciuta. Un grazie speciale a Fernanda e Ornella per il loro impegno, e siamo contenti che anche la colazione e il pranzo siano stati di vostro gradimento. Speriamo di rivedervi presto!

Perfect and pleasant attendance

I was really looking forward to this tour, but to be honest, I was quite nervous about the English guide. However, the guide explained things slowly and clearly, and showed great attention to detail, so I was able to spend the whole day pleasantly. Although it can sometimes be a bit stiff, there was absolutely no such consideration, and it's no exaggeration to say that I was smiling the whole time. Even though I was alone, I was able to relax and enjoy the whole day. Finally, I was really grateful for the several pieces of information that I was able to share with you that I think will be very useful the next day and beyond. I hope to meet you again the next time I visit São Paulo.
