PALENQUE TOUR • Transfer from the residence hotel to palenque will take us 1 hour.
• Visit ancestral places such as: CASA DE TAMBORES AND CASA DEL ARTE
• Visit to the village of Panque, which is an exact replica of how the slaves lived more than 600 years ago. • Tour of the village "customs"
• Explanation of how the artisan process is with respect to the elaboration of palenque sweets and the elaboration of the "ñeque" (Drink that the palenqueros drank as a gift from the African descendants at that time)
Visit to the statue of the Colombian Boxer "Kid Pambele"
We visit the central restaurant of the palenqueros, and we return, it would take us 1 hour to get to Cartagena where the activity ends.

Roiman was great! They were able to pick us up directly from where we were staying. It was about an hour drive total from Cartagena. Immediately I felt connected to the culture and history. Got to see the dancing of the Palenque (and they sang happy birthday to me too!), was blessed by the town doctor and was able to purchase an amulet to take with me, got to visit a traditional house, learned about the history of braids, went to the music house (and played instruments) learn Palenque words and sayings and had a delicious lunch. They also provided cold water for us as well. I would definitely recommend!
A fantastic tour, very unique experience unlike many other excursions. Royman is an incredible guide, super knowledgable, and more than happy to answer any questions. Was always checking in on us that we were comfortable. A lot of history and culture to be learned and exposed to. Lots of interactive experienced such as the drum show, music house, and the traditional medicine workshop. Highly recommend for your trip to Cartagena!
