Walk the dark streets of St. Augustine. Put yourself in the scene of murders, or the set up, where victims were last seen; the last moments of their lives. Learn the details of the case, then you decide, was justice served? Is the right person convicted? Or maybe there was none or unsolved. Crimes from the oldest unsolved murder in Florida almost 240 years ago, up to a recent hotly debated crime caught on tape. Immerse yourself in the Torrid Tales of our town and see how you come out the other side. Roughly 90 minutes; tour size kept small (up to 12) to maintain intimate and interactive experience; this tour ends outside a local bar, with the opportunity to go inside after tour with the guide and further discuss cases. (this is only optional as some people like to continue discussion; no drinks included in tour price) [Ages 15 and up; walking tour; rain or shine; ]

Laura was great. She was a wonderful story teller. She told the stories in detail and made of feel like were watching the murders in real time .

This walking tour was done really well, even though our tour guide was doing it for the first time. There was not only relation of what happened to the victims but we as guests were allowed to put forward our own speculations in interesting directions.

Although the tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic, the overall experience was disappointing. The large group was excited to solve crimes and engage with history, but being lectured for more than 90 minutes was not what we anticipated or enjoyed. Much of the background information could have been quickly found through a brief Google search, yet it took 20 minutes to explain. We wouldn’t recommend.
I am sorry your experience was disappointing. The tour however was as planned, with no description or promise of crime solving type of investigating. While some information can certainly be obtained from internet searches, we deep dive and go to uncommon resources for extensive knowledge. "Being lectured" is a bit harsh, when describing and explaining things is exactly what tour guides do, for any type of tour- from history, to ghost to site/location specific to true crime. We all learn, research and then share information.

We enjoyed getting some history about the area and seeing where local crimes happened. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and respectful of the victims. I thought she did a nice job of describing what happened but acknowledging the people who lost their lives.

Me and my fiance had an AMAZING time on this tour and will definitely be returning for another! The hours flew by so fast and Laura was GREAT at answering questions!!! Very immersive and keeps you hooked haha. Highlight of the tour for us personally was her paying homage and telling us the names of a particular set of victims out of respect, Laura you are truly a beautiful soul! Our group was very small, just us, another couple, and of course our hilarious guide and it just made the whole thing even better with how much we were all able to interact! It is a walking tour but there are opportunities to sit throughout if you are not the most able bodied!! Laura was very knowledgeable and even has another/an extension true crime tour if you enjoy this one!! :) Thank you!
