Flagship Tours - A warning

Booked Food and Cultural tour of Amsterdam by Bicycle; wanted to combine two desirable activities into one tour. Was on the plane from California to Amsterdam when I received calls from the vendor informing me my original tour was cancelled due to "technical issues." If anyone receives such a message, be wary. They will try and appease you by booking you on a walking food tour and a separate biking tour at a later time should you request it. I did and was given a verbal guarantee they could accommodate a biking tour immediately after the walking food tour and I should get emails verifying this. I got one email verifying our walking food tour and none other. Upon checking in at Flagship, I reiterated my previous communique with staff at the bike store but they had no clue to what agreement they levied with me. All around the city, there are Flagship canal boats, Stroopwafel bakeries/factories, and restaurants associated with the company. Their boats are usually packed and I am sure they do good business. Unfortunately, there is a cost and be assured you will experience less intimacy and personal interaction. We never did get our biking tour but I wouldn't have wanted one with them. So if you are reading this, you have been warned. I booked through Viator and the reviews were decent. I should have known it was too good to be true to have a food tour on bikes.
