My wife, 8m old, and I had an excellent tour with Shun-San. He showed us around the market and had some great food tastings lined up. It was an easy walk with lots of breaks to rest and ask questions (or get more food). Would recommend.
We had an amazing tour with Karin today! She was friendly, informative, and spoke English very well! Highly recommended!
Karin was kind and informative the entire time. She was flexible when needed but kept us on track to ensure we saw everything. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
Amazing food tour. We loved our tour guide Karin. She was very knowledgeable. She took her time answering all questions. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone!
Our Tsukiji Fish Market tour with Kaori was one of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo. From the moment we met her, Kaori was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Japanese food culture. She expertly guided us through the bustling market, introducing us to a variety of delicious foods and explaining the history, traditions, and stories behind each one. We visted a Bhuddist temple, a Shinto shrine, tasted incredible fresh seafood, Wagyu beef, local specialties, and treats that we never would have discovered on our own. We ended with a private sashimi tasting. Kaori's insights helped us appreciate not only the food but also the people and craftsmanship that make Tsukiji such a special place. What made the experience truly memorable was Kaori herself. She was patient, engaging, and happy to answer all of our questions. Her enthusiasm for Japanese cuisine was contagious, and she made everyone in our group feel welcome and comfortable. If you're visiting Tokyo and want an authentic, fun, and informative food experience, I highly recommend taking a Tsukiji Fish Market tour with Kaori. It was an unforgettable morning filled with amazing food, fascinating culture, and wonderful company.
I enjoyed my tour with Mutsuko! She was very patient with all my questions and explained everything. I would highly recommend Mutsuko and the company Japan Wonder!
Our guide Mariko was amazing and made the whole tour fun and easy to follow. We learned so many interesting stories about the places we visited, and it was great to explore with a local instead of walking around by ourselves. Everything was well planned, and there was enough time to enjoy the food and take photos without feeling rushed. We also got some great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit after the tour. Highly recommended if you want a fun and memorable experience in Tokyo. We’d definitely book another tour with Japan Wonder Travel in the future!
Very smart and fun. Easily answered questions. Highly recommend
Nobu was lovely and v knowledgeable about the best places to eat, as well as the history and culture of Tsukiji. We started at a Buddhist temple and ended at a Shinto shrine, which was lovely. We also ended very full! She was very accommodating with our dietary choices and helped us navigate the market with ease.
Yuki our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She encouraged our small group to get to know each other. The tour is a walk thru the busy market but not a visit to the tuna or big fish auction - goodfood, interesting walk, not really a deep dive into anything. Fish prep demo at the end was excellent. I would have liked more explanation of each food and shop history.
