The Sumida Aquarium is one of the main attractions of the Tokyo Skytree Town, a modern entertainment complex. Spread over 2 floors, it is home to over 10,000 sea creatures and is the first aquarium in the Kanto region to use only artificial seawater. An exciting and educational experience, you will see schools of colorful fish, numerous jellyfish floating in tanks and beautiful coral reefs. At the Aqua gallery, learn about the ecology of sea creatures as you explore tanks arranged like paintings in an art museum. A highlight of your visit is the aquarium’s 350-thousand-liter tank, the largest open indoor tank in Japan. With clear glass walls and nothing to obstruct your view, you can watch penguins playfully splash about and see fur seals glide through the water.

Nice aquarium. Enjoyed the penguins and seals! We saw them being fed and playing. Nice for small children too.
It is a very nice aquarium but very small. It is nice to come if you are in the area since it is connected to the sky tree.
The service provided by the individual who was supposed to send the admission ticket was pathetic. After hundreds of requests we received the ticket late.on the previous night. I strongly suggest you find an alternative support provider. The one based in Dubai is useless
What a beautiful experience. We spent about 2 hours here to admire the different species in this underwater world, very clean and well-maintained
The jellyfish area was so much interesting and te penguin style zone was a favorite. Using the e ticket made everything quick and easy and definitely worth a visit if you're in japan.
