Breathtaking Views, But Chaotic

The Skytree is a magnificent structure. The views are extraordinary. I think the experience itself wasn’t great because it’s so crowded that you’re fighting to get a window spot for images. What saved the whole experience was going to the restaurant Musashi. We were able to walk in there and sit and really enjoy the breathtaking view from the Skytree in a leisurely manner. Sheerly for views, I think Shibuya Sky is more impressive and they also let in a smaller number of people at once.

Must do!

The visit is well organised with very minimal waiting time at the elevators. I visited at "golden hour", but I noticed lots of people from earlier slots stayed behind and took up a lot of space in front of the windows. They clearly had some trouble getting people to leave so that new people could also have a look. Even without Fuji the view from both decks is amazing.

Great Views Of The City

The Sky Tree was a nice experience, we booked it to experience day turning to night and it was lovely to watch from this high viewpoint. The feature is modern and provides great views of the city. There were however a lot of peopl3, but still was a good experience.

Only because it’s on the to do list.

It’s the place to go but I saw the same from the 36th floor of my hotel (without 360 view).

Fantastic Views

Book tickets with a time slot for access there is security so best not take large bags. The views are spectacular with all of the Tokyo metropolis laid out in front of you. There are two viewing areas at Floor 350 and the 450 The view is the same and to be honest at Floor 350 the windows are more restrictive. The glass floor takes some nerve at that height to step onto…

Sky Tree

Waste of time and money. There for 5 mins and had seen it all. Took longer on the escalators to get there.

Upoer deck staff not helpful, no notice of closure of cafes to general public

Not accepting dining without reservation because of group booking already at skycafe. So no food available for family. Told to go down to restaurant at bottom of tower, then would not let us back up. Even the staff at the gist shop said it was ‘fcuked up’ (literally his best English). Gave up and left.

Without visiting Skytree you haven't seen Tokyo

Absolutely stunning views! I ate Hamburger at 350 m waiting for a sunset and night views. They were awesome as well. An American young couple came beside me and we had fun for 2,5 hours – pleasant happening –> we became friends! Souvenir shop was good, altough there were not spoons that I'm collecting. Fortunately I found it at a souvenir shop in Chiyoda on the following day.
