This was such a unique and memorable experience! My favorite part was choosing my Japanese name from the dictionary and learning the meaning behind the characters. It felt so personal and incredibly cool. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and meaningful cultural activity!
The teachers were so encouraging and sweet! In that short time, I definitely got better at writing! Highly recommend the class!
Our family of five had the most intimate and special time during our Calligraphy workshop. From the warm greeting by the hosts Yuuka, Noriko, Anon, and Nono; to the brand new studio location and workshop setup, we felt like VIPs during our first trip to Tokyo. There is a ton of thoughtfulness and intention in this workshop. The hosts and guides are engaging, knowledgable and thorough. We left with not only a new skill to continue honing, but also with tons of souvenirs. My children ages 11, 8, and 5 were beyond engaged and did not want to stop (we actually had to force them to put down the ink brushes). I highly recommend you purchase the T-Shirt, as well. Between the T-shirt and the ink paintings we have tons of memories of this workshop (and it's a great value for the volume). We ended up booking another workshop with the hosts for a few days later. I can't say enough great things about this experience!
Amazing experience! The team is fantastic, with a lot of patience and explains everything very well. It was 1:30, which gave to learn a lot and to experiment with several words. I recommend 100%!

The course is very interesting, touches on several areas, and broadens your understanding of Japanese culture and language, thanks to the amazing Maho and Susan.
Yoko, Yuuka and Keiko have been the best guides and teachers for us! They explained greatly and encouraged us to try everything. They hype you up even when you mess up😆 The pickup and communication was great as well. 10/10 would definitely recommend
