We are 27-29 - it was fun but not exciting. Thought there would be more to it , but could just be not my type of fun.
This place was so much fun! Lots of stuff to do. I didn't have any issue with entry. The only issue I had and it was very minor is that the transit pass I purchased with the package didn't work, because it was for a specific line. Honestly, that was no deal breaker as transit in Tokyo is cheap.
This is terrible. The place requires a QR code. Not a barcode. They did not let us in the place. I had to purchase tickets separately. DO NOT book this. Purchase on a different site.
Fun and safe for the kids and delicious food and very affordable and the ride are good for adults too
Fantastic experience I can’t believe Sega doesn’t have this type of set up in the United States. The skateboarding thing was epic, the transformers was my FAVORITE and we loved the Taiko drum game. We are from California and we know amusement parks but this was exceptional. Sega rules. I loved that it allowed re-entry so we could go eat outside. The ONE thing I really really did NOT like is there is zero seating. What an exclusionary and discriminating thing. I am 55 years old and even my so who is 25 with is had severe bone pain after walking to the train and then walking to the joypolis and then waiting in many hour long lines. How horrible to not give even a place to eat the crepes we bought from you only three standup tables. Really really terrible and makes me know I probably won’t get to go back because I can’t stand for 3-4 hours without ever sit down. That’s just for three rides and 2 games and food. I would have done more but my body was screaming. My son was hurting too. Recommend be in great shape and don’t bring anybody that ever has to sit down. Not even mothers carrying babies or older adults or anyone.
The joypolis is a Great experience and Lots of fun but Getting the Tickets was very difficult and Customer help from the Local Agency left a lot to be Desired. Had to involve Viator Directly to get our Tickets.
How totally awesome the whole experience it was. The rides, the experiences, everything! I would recommend Joypolis to anyone!
It is a decent way to spend a few hours. It is very loud. The ticket gets you in and on the “rides” which are mainly virtual reality experiences. I wish we had just done Disneyland instead though. The arcade games cost extra and it was pretty far from everything else we wanted to do.
The half pipe, the Transformers Pods, the House of the Dead on this IMAX sized screen, the interactive roller coaster, and the cherry on top, the SEGA store. I was like a kid in a candy store.
We were planning this tour for such a time ago. I will recommend everyone to visit this place through E-tickets because I know you will need it.
