It was a really exciting car experience for me and my 15yo son. John was really lovely, easy going and punctual, he communicated with us prior to the meat up with the meat up details and location. Despite the rain, we got to see some really cool cars in Daikoku, went to the Autobarn store, drove through the rainbow bridge, saw the Tokyo tower and took some really great pics. Definitely great value for money. Thank you John for making our experience so memorable! Definitely recommend 👌 👍
Hi Paulina, Thank you so much! It was a pleasure meeting you and your son. I'm really glad you both had a great time despite the rain and that we could make some awesome memories together. Thanks again for the recommendation, and I hope to see you both again on your next trip to Japan! 😊🚗📸
John picked us up in his modified Subaru, took us to a JDM car meet up spot to see some fantastic cars, visited huge car parts and merchandise store for souvenirs. He kindly drove us back to our hotel via the rainbow bridge and a quick stop at the Tokyo tower. Overall an outstanding trip with a great host.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the night, from the car meet and shopping stop to the drive through Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. It was a pleasure having you, and I hope to see you again on your next visit to Japan!
Great Experience with Isaac as our guide, managed to see plenty of amazing cars and his own car was very fun to be in! Would highly recommend doing this if you're into Jdm cars!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you had a great time with Isaac and enjoyed the experience. I'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. Thanks for the recommendation, and we hope to see you again in Japan!
We loved the Tokyo tour, John our driver was very kind and nice, he has very good friends (motorcycle gang, rode along part of the tour with us). We had a lot of fun. John does a great job driving his car and as a bonus he took very good pictures of us with his camera capturing the best spots in the city (pictures to be sent later).
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure having you on the tour. I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed the company, the drive, and the photo stops. I'll get those photos to you soon! Hope to see you again when you're back in Japan.
My son (13) and I had a great time with our driver John. He was really chill and informative with the car scene here in Tokyo. If you are into cars, this is a great trip to book. I booked this because my son wanted to see a GTR35 on our Japan trip. We saw at least 10! Thank you John for a great night!
Thanks so much! It was awesome having you both along. Glad your son got his GTR fix! 😄 Hope to see you again in Japan
The experience was THE BEST! We had so much fun and the atmosphere was unreal. John truly is the GOAT! A very nice and friendly person, who genuinely loves to do what he does and sharing his passion with others. He was kind enough to reschedule our visit due to sudden poor weather, making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The tour itself is charming, aside from the amazing cars that we saw and cool people that we talked to, the sceneries themselves were breathtaking. John made sure we had the best panoramic tour of the city skyline by night, and Tokyo Tower in the rain is something I will never forget. 10/10!!! PS he also takes amazing pictures even though he is too humble to admit it
Wow, thank you so much for the amazing review! 😄 I'm really happy we could make it work despite the weather and that you had such a memorable experience. It was a pleasure sharing my passion with you, and I hope to see you again for another Tokyo adventure.
John was an amazing guide, couldn’t have wished for anyone else to have showed us around!
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure showing you around. I'm really glad you enjoyed the experience. Hope to see you again when you're back in Japan!
The tour was fantastic and John was a brilliant host. He took some lovely photos with his camera and took the time to explain the background and history of the car meet. He was very gracious when I took a little too long in the store. I would definitely book this tour again and had a great time solo. Thank you!
Hi Elsie, Thanks so much! It was great having you on the tour. I'm glad you enjoyed the experience and the photos. Hope to see you again when you're back in Japan!
My girlfriend and I had a great experience dealing with John through trip advisor. John had perfect communication though out the experience and made the evening extremely memorable for us. Driving through Tokyo city with other JDMs you only see in movies let alone a huge fast and furious style car meets… doesn’t get better than that! John was extremely passionate and informative. His English was perfect for all you English speaking travellers. The advertisement was described perfectly we did exactly what we expected however the energy and atmosphere was something you cant put a metric on. Try it for yourself you wont be disappointed with this experience.
Hi Dean, Thanks for the kind words! It was great meeting you both. Glad you enjoyed the experience, and hope to see you again in Japan!
Really good experience with John; he speaks English very well, and we saw a lot of Japanese cars. I truly recommend this guide to all French people; the trip was pleasant, and we saw superb cars in the parking lot and then in the garage with beautiful sounds and great modifications.
Hi Timeo, Thank you so much for the great review! We're really glad you enjoyed the JDM car meet. Hope to see you again on another ride soon!
