Great way to experience Tokyo!

We loved biking all around the city and getting a broad overview of Tokyo. Gaku was a terrific guide and was so great with keeping us safe and together as a group. Be sure you are comfortable biking in traffic, and there are only a few hills, nothing too bad. I highly recommend this tour.

Best Excursion Ever!

This is absolutely the greatest thing we have done in Japan. Gaku was very fluent in English & was the best host/guide ever! We did 17 miles around the city & hit parks, shrines, had lunch at the Tokyo Harbor. We love you Gaku! Thanks for the wonderful time!

Tokyo on foot

In an absolute small group of 4 cyclists, our wonderful guide Gaku led us through the streets of Tokyo. The temples visited and the other stops were wonderfully distributed, making the several-hour ride varied. I found it unfortunate that there was no detour to the Shibuya Crossing included, even though we still had plenty of time.

Best Activity in Tokyo

A super great experience with Gaku. Don't hesitate to book this bike trip around Tokyo. We stopped at shrines, parks & topped it off with a high rise view of the city on the top of the government building!

Bicycle Tour Tokyo

If you’re looking for the ultimate way to explore Tokyo, look no further than Bicycle Tours Tokyo — and make sure you request Gaku as your guide. This tour was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. Gaku’s passion for Tokyo was absolutely infectious. His depth of knowledge about the city’s rich history was remarkable — he brought centuries of culture and tradition to life at every turn, making each stop feel like a story unfolding before our eyes. What truly set this tour apart was the perfect balance between iconic landmarks and wonderfully off-the-beaten-path discoveries — hidden temples, quiet backstreets, and local shops we never would have found on our own. Safety was clearly Gaku’s top priority throughout. Navigating Tokyo’s busy streets on a bicycle could feel daunting, but his calm, professional guidance made every rider feel completely at ease. It was clear he takes his responsibility to his guests very seriously. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo. Whether you’re a history buff, an adventurer, or simply someone who wants to truly feel a city rather than just see it, this is the experience for you. We will absolutely be back! Thank you Gaku!!

Fantastic way to see hidden gems

This is a fabulous way to see some of the better known areas and some of the more off the beaten track spots. Gaku our guide was a mind of information and so helpful. The bikes were light and good. It’s a long ride but fun so you don’t notice the distance

Great way of seeing Tokyo with expert and very attentive guide, Gaku.

We loved the variety of small back streets, parks, shrines, and very busy thoroughfares. Gaku made us feel very safe and was a great host. We enjoyed buying lunch at a local store and eating it at the harbour as well as finishing with the amazing views of where we had been. We would definitely do this again.

Tokyo by bike!

Gaku is a wonderful bicycle guide and expertly navigated our family of 5 through the streets of Tokyo. Great way to start our trip in Japan and get a taste of this enormous city. Bikes were in good condition and we felt safe the entire journey. The stops were well planned and local lunch by the waterfront was a nice touch.
