I had a fantastic experience on the Tokyo Essential Private Tour with Ken Tanaka from YURAGI Travel. Ken's English is excellent, making it easy to ask questions and learn about Tokyo's history, culture, and local life. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable, and he tailored the day to suit my interests while keeping everything running smoothly. One thing to keep in mind when planning your itinerary is that if you choose attractions that are quite far apart, you'll still need to do a fair amount of very fast-paced walking, even though you'll be using Tokyo's excellent train system. It's definitely worth considering travel times between locations when deciding what to include. If you're visiting in July, be prepared for the heat and humidity. I highly recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated and a small hand towel to wipe away the sweat—it makes a big difference! Overall, I had a wonderful day with Ken and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personalised introduction to Tokyo.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We're thrilled that Ken helped make your Tokyo Essential Private Tour so enjoyable and personalized. We also greatly appreciate your thoughtful tips about summer weather and travel pacing, which will certainly help future travelers. We hope to welcome you back to Tokyo again soon!

Yuragi was amazing and so friendly. She arrived at our hotel early to pick us up. We started off at the tsukiji food market where she advised which local dishes are a must. She taught us how to use the subway too. We then went to senso ji and the shopping street where we tried some more local delicacies. She gave us the history of the edo era. We then had some lovely taken lunch then popped over to the imperial garden followed by a glimpse of the Tokyo tower. Then we hit up the famous takeshita street in harujuku my daughter loved it! We took some fun pictures at the photo booth. We ended up at shibuya and she told us the beautiful story of hachiko and ended the tour At a souffle cafe. She was so polite and answered all our questions without hesitation and so friendly I would definitely recommend anyone to go with her for a tour.
