Tokyo e-bike tour, see the sights and find your way above ground

Had a fabulous time visiting some tourist hotspots and some hidden highlights with our guide Irene. Met some lovely people and got to understand more about where everything is located after spending a few days underground on the trains. It is a great way to get to know the city. Irene was an excellent host, shared lots of information about the city, looked out for everyone and navigated us around with ease.

Operator response

Thank you! After a few days underground on the trains, seeing the city above ground makes such a difference — and Irene is wonderful at sharing the stories while looking out for everyone. So glad you discovered both the hotspots and the hidden gems with us!

Too many people. Itinerary not as described.

The tour itinerary I booked and prepaid for was changed without notification. Four locations were dropped and two were added. Three locations which I was really interested in (Aoyama Street, Shibuya Cat Street, and Shibuya Crossing {their Times Square}) were dropped. Additionally, the endpoint was changed. I had planned my day based on the original endpoint. In addition, the description said there would be a max of 7 people; we had 8. Which doesn't seem like a huge deal, but on several occasions the group got separated and in one case 4 people got lost from the group.

Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to explain this, and we're sorry. You're right that the change should have been communicated to you in advance, and not doing so was our mistake. For context, your tour fell during Golden Week, when areas like Shibuya and Cat Street get extremely crowded, and on the day the guide adjusted the route with everyone's safety in mind. Even so, we should have explained the change and the reason to you clearly at the time. We'll also look at how we size and pace groups on the busiest days. Safety always comes first for us, but being clear with our guests matters just as much, and we'll make sure the two go together from now on. We'd really like to make this right. Please reach out to us through Viator, and thank you again for the honest feedback.

3-Hour Bike Tour Great Fun and Value!

This was really fun tour riding an E-bike around Tokyo! We stopped at various locations. Kai, our tour guide, had extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods further adding interest and value to the day. Kai and people I was paired with made this such an incredible and enjoyable experience! I liked how they broke overall large group into smaller 8-people groups rising fun and keeping us safe at the same time! I recommend people sign up for this tour and ask for Kai.

Awesome way to experience Tokyo

Despite the drizzly weather, we had a fabulous time with Hiro (our guide), who calmly and confidently navigated us through the streets of Tokyo. The bikes were excellent and easy to ride. My only advice would be the use of real time guiding with an earbud, as it is difficult for the riders who are not directly behind the guide.

Nice sedate tour of city

Nice way to spend a few hours seeing another side of Tokyo. However if like us you are used to biking tours,it was a little disappointing as bikes used were street bikes you can hire across the globe in most cities using your credit card. Tour guide was friendly but history at the stop points was good but limited. Be mindfull that helmets are not included in the price.

Good fun

Good fun! Ken and Sho were both knowledgeable and enjoyable. We learned about the sights and other aspects of Japanese culture. Small group size, good bicycles, and a great tour of parts of Tokyo.

Fun tour

Show gave us a good tour with some fun anecdotes and an optional stop off for a refreshment. Cycling is a great way to see several sites.
