“Todo Glaciares” Scenic Glacier Boat Tour from El Calafate

Todo Glaciares, also known as All Glaciers, is one of the most popular boat tours in El Calafate. You will sail on Argentino lake to discover the Upsala, Seco, Heim, Peineta and Spegazzini glaciers. To complete the experience, you will disembark at Base Spegazzini, a facility equipped with a restaurant, cafeteria and rest area, surrounded by the Patagonian forest, which you will have the opportunity to explore on foot. Travellers love its terrace and viewpoint of the Spegazzini Glacier, perfect for taking photographs. You can choose the option of being picked up from El Calafate or arriving in your own vehicle. You can also enhance your experience by adding the Captain's Club, which includes a VIP cabin on the boat and a gourmet lunch at Base Spegazzini.

Itinerary
Pickup in El Calafate or meeting point at Punta Bandera Port The Todo Glaciares boat tour is available with or without round-trip transfers from El Calafate. If you select the transfer option, you'll be picked up from your accommodation in El Calafate around 7:00 AM and driven to Punta Bandera Port, located approximately 47 km (29.2 miles) away. If you choose the tour-only option—perfect if you have your own vehicle—you’ll need to make your own way to the port and meet the group there at 8:30 AM.
Upsala Channel Boarding begins at 8:30 AM, along with a brief introduction to the day’s navigation. The boat departs at 9:00 AM, cruising along the northern arm of Lake Argentino toward the Upsala Channel. This area is renowned for its impressive floating icebergs, which break off from the face of the Upsala Glacier.
Seco and Spegazzini Glaciers The journey continues through the Spegazzini Channel, offering views of the Seco Glacier—a hanging glacier that doesn’t reach the water. The highlight here is the Spegazzini Glacier, the tallest glacier in Los Glaciares National Park.
Spegazzini Base Stop The tour includes a stop at the Spegazzini Base, a specially designed facility featuring a panoramic terrace, a viewpoint, and a spacious dining area. You’ll enjoy a short, easy walk—fully accessible for all travelers—while guides share insights about the unique Andean-Patagonian forest. Afterward, enjoy some free time for lunch while taking in breathtaking views of the glacier wall. *Captain's Club Upgrade If you’ve selected the Captain’s Club experience, you’ll enjoy exclusive seating in the ship’s VIP lounge next to the captain, along with complimentary bar service. At the Spegazzini Base, you’ll also be treated to a premium four-course lunch.
The return logistics depend on the option you selected: If you chose the tour without transfers, you’ll disembark at Punta Bandera Port around 4:00 PM. If you selected the tour with transfers, a vehicle will be waiting at the port to take you back to El Calafate, with an estimated arrival around 6:00 PM.

Very interesting tour. Start early and take a bus and catamaran route. Beautiful landscapes until you reach the glacier. Worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of joining this trip. This was beautifully organized and the staff were beyond amazing! The views were breathtaking. Our captain ensured we had a lot of time to admire the glaciers from multiple angles. The team welcomed me with good coffee and pastries, followed by great food and wine. We disembarked at the Spegazzini base for lunch and more breathtaking views. I booked the Captain's Club with private balconies. The staff were attentive and professional. This tour was not rushed at all. Very relaxing and beautiful from start to end. Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgable. Plus I made friends with a beautiful family which made the experience more precious. The bus and catamaran were both very clean and warm. 12 out of 10 would do this again!! My only regret is that I didnt take this tour sooner.
