The gardens and palace are wonderful. Unfortunately there is a lot of walking and my wife had a bad back so couldn’t do all of the gardens and exhibitions. Allow a good 3-4 hours for this visit. The palace is beautiful and has so many pieces of art. I did have an issue when we went to check in as the gardens said at first that our ticket was just for the palace but when I checked it was a combination ticket for palace and gardens. The people at the gate asked if we had already been in as our ticket was not valid. However they were lovely and let us in anyway. What I do have issue with is that we paid £149 for 4 tickets with a face value of €22 each - total €88 so paid double gave value. When I questioned this I was told that this was their ‘fees’ I have used Viator many times with great success and satisfaction but I find this mark up on ticket prices quite extortionate. The gardens and palace were not that busy so we could have just rocked up and bought €22 tickets and saved a fortune.

I didn't get to use this timed entry ticket. The email I received the day before said that if I booked through trip advisor, then I'd receive my ticket by email. I followed the links in the message to get tickets, then received a bar code TripAdvisor ticket that said I could exchange it for real tickets at the ticket office. That did not work. The vendor sent a what's app message with a pdf of tickets but my mobile connection wasn't good enough to download them. I ended up just buying tickets at the Boboli ticket office. It is better if the vendor has you pick up tickets in person. This worked with another vendor. Or they should have emailed their plan for providing tickets the day before so that I could have found a wireless connection.

Didn’t do the gardens. It was too hot and the beginning entry stairs lacked handrails. Glad I didn’t go there as it’s being remodeled. The museum was great. Good explanatory signs. (I couldn’t get the guide app to work. Loved the fashion exhibit!

We had HORRIBLE Experienes! Total fraud. Do not book! At the Duomo, we were in a line, without shade for over an hour. We could have waited for an in shade for free. The Duomo doesn't actually honor a "cut the line" At the Petti Palace I had to buy new tickets. No line at all, 40 euros

I booked this tour for my clients for May 12 on Viator. I repeatedly contacted them regarding the receipt of tickets. I was told that I would receive them the day before, on May 11th. At 4:07 US time on May 11th, I reached out again. No response until 11:39pm US time on May 11th, when the tickets were sent. This is unacceptable with the time difference between US and Italy as time in Florence was 6:30am, on May 12th, the date of the actual tour. In further investigating the tour vendor, they are located in India. DO NOT book with this vendor!

Fantastic experience we loved Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens , such elegance and history! So lovely to see the grandness of the palace and the portraits and statues. The students who were there to help as guides gave us more in-depth experience- well done . The gardens although parts were under renovation , were lovely and so vast not seen anything so impressive- beautiful. The palace is amazing, don't underestimate how much there is to see. The gardens are undergoing refurbishment so not fully open at the moment.

They skipped the line ticket was actually an opportunity to get in a line that took one hour and 25 minutes to reach the door. The ticket time was 10 o’clock the doors don’t even open until 1030. When I ask the tour operator about it he laughed and said if you don’t think this is a short line go look at the free line.

The Pitti palace and gardens were great! But we followed all the instructions and downloaded the app and everything and no one could access the audio tour.
