Not a good experiance, very disapionting we booked skip the line tickets, cost a lot of money, we were told to go to a certain place to get our tickets when we got there NO Tickets!! so we could not get in, we paid a lot of money for this, but its cheaper to get it when you get there.
The location to gather the actual tickets is not at the Pitti Palace. Just plan extra time for your outing!
Do not buy tickets online, even at Easter, you will have tickets at the box office. Retrieving tickets purchased online is complex. I had to ask to receive them by email. I had to download a new app to have audio on my phone in French.
Minor confusion on my side. I did not realize I was to pick up tickets at your office. I was thinking the location would have been near entry.
An experience to view artwork and statues that would be hard to find all in one place. Book tickets ahead of your visit well worth it.
Lots to see. Lots of art and history. Easy to access. Can be done in half day or less. Cool if you like history or design.
We had one full day in Florence to see things and chose the Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens because the palace apartments are used to exhibit an extensive range of artwork; both painting and sculpture. There is also an extensive display of costume worn through the ages. We were there for almost six hours and it was really fantastic. The gardens are huge and there are some delightful discoveries when you go exploring. Make sure to climb to the very top of the gardens because the view at the top, out into rural Tuscany, is worth the climb. A perfect day!
Palazzo Pitti was an incredible. Spent over 4 hours between palace and the gardens. Staff helpful. Crowd size was easy.
The tickets are NOT available at the venue. If you happen to find them you’re doing better than me; good luck! They contacted me 20 minutes after we’d entered the venue and bought tickets for less money. Total con. Won’t refund.
The palace itself was amazing. Maybe the ceiling is more splendid than Versailles. We also had a closer look at three paintings by Raphael. However, I had to go out of my way to redeem my voucher somewhere else and spent an hour looking for it because it was so confusing. It is normal to show your voucher at the entrance and they will exchange it for a ticket. I wasted valuable time. And when I went there, I found a rattle, nobody was lined up. The bottom line was that we didn't need priority tickets.
