Tijuana Food Tasting: Tijuana Day Tour from San Diego

I had such a WONDERFUL experience, I went alone and as a Female I felt safe throughout my entire experience with Carlos! I spent an afternoon there as time was cut short by the line to get in that day (Memorial day weekend was super crowded), but Carlos my guide quickly made up for it. Carlos is a native of Tijuana and really gives you a true lense view of someone who knows the city like the back of his hand. Extremely affordable experience as I was on a budget. Went to the bank and took out singles - spent under $100 between tips and buying things to bring back home and still felt like a Queen. I hope to come back again some day with Family or Friends and enjoy the absolutely delicious food that was very authentic to the area (as I am also Spanish and can really be a judge for the taste).

Loved this tour! Shout out to Carlos for being the best host. We were a small tour of 3 who booked very last minute. We were met on the San Diego side and instructed on how to cross the border. This was easy and no trouble. The tour consisted of 3 Taco tastings, 2 tequila/ mezcal and some chocolate. Everywhere was amazing, food was great and Carlos knowledge was impeccable. Nothing was any trouble and I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour and visit Tijuana again. We were very fortunate to get cross back to the US in 15 minutes. We did a 1pm tour and headed back around 5.30/6. Nothing was rushed!

We enjoyed our tour very much! Our tour guide Marisol was very accommodating and friendly! We loved the candy, tequila, and taco tastings! Overall very fun!

Victor was a wonderful guide ! The tour was organized so well and we got to see good Tijuana sights and eat and taste some wonderful yummy local food ! I definitely recommend this tour and victor made it 100 percent !

Marisol was so friendly and really focused on sharing her favorite street food with us. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. I liked that she just really focused on food rather than dragging us through various museums and cultural centers. She also gave us choices of what we’d prefer to try as well as took us in various shops and shared different types of sweets, fruits and cheeses. I would advise asking for Marisol when booking.

We had such a great experience on our tour with Andres as our guide! He took us for delicious food throughout the day mixed in with history of the city and gorgeous views. Walking around the city city felt like walking with a friend. Through the different plazas and markets, you can tell that Andres has many connections and his love for the city is shown at each location he brought us to. He was very receptive to any input of locations we would like to see along the tour, and never felt rushed or slow. Overall this was a great time and would let others who travel to Tijuana for the first time experience it like this.

Humberto was an excellent tour guide. Great fun, food and shopping. He knew all the really clean restaurants with the freshest foods. Stopped for some great craft beer scenes as well. Highly recommend!
