This tour is especially recommended for nature lovers seeking a unique and refined experience just outside the city. Its distinctive character lies in the quality of its services and its flexible navigation options. The Tigre Delta Tour includes a scenic cruise through the waterways of the Tigre Delta aboard a Premium boat. Choose between a 2-hour navigation covering the north of Buenos Aires and the Delta’s narrow channels and islands; a 1-hour cruise focused on the Delta; or our Premium Semi-Private option, offering a smaller vessel with limited passengers for a more intimate and comfortable experience. Itinerary
During the navigation, travelers will explore the unique waterways of the Tigre Delta, a vast network of rivers and narrow channels surrounded by lush subtropical vegetation. As the boat glides through the calm waters, guests will see traditional stilt houses, elegant weekend residences, historic rowing clubs, floating supermarkets, and river taxis — all part of daily island life. The guide explains how locals commute, attend school, and adapt to living in this remarkable river ecosystem. Along the way, enjoy peaceful scenery, fresh air, and excellent photo opportunities while discovering the history, culture, and natural beauty that make the Delta one of Argentina’s most distinctive landscapes.
Enjoy a snack at Vivanco restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.
The Puerto de frutos is a small pier located on the banks of the Luján River in the town of Tigre, next to which the fruit market is located. Its name comes from the mid-twentieth century where the fruit production of the Paraná Delta used to disembark in that area, and was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires
Victorica Avenue is the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum
In 1909, a society was formed with the purpose of founding a club that would bring together the inhabitants of the place and would be a space for the practice of sports and recreation, including at the same time a casino in the European style

This was a lovely, relaxing way to escape the big city, see the countryside, and explore a world where people live on islands without roads, serviced only by water taxis. And Pablo, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable and personable.
Nice boat tour of the Tigre Delta. The area reminded me a bit like Florida around the Crystal River springs. Ride to the Delta can be a bit bouncy. We went on a rainy day, but stayed dry inside the boat. It would have been nicer to be up topside however. The port town of Tigre was also nice and low stress compared with the bustle of Buenos Aires. The food was great; we ate inside a building run by the local Italian rowing club.
The description of the tour included “snacks”, which since the tour was from 9 AM until 2 PM I concluded a small snack would have been provided by the tour to hold you over until you had time after the tour to procure a lunch. There was an opportunity to buy a snack during your free time at the fruit market, but since this came at the end of the tour I just waited to get lunch after the tour. I think it would be more accurate to remove the word “snack” from the tour description or make clear that the snack would be at your own expense. Thank you.
This was a fun tour thru the river. Leaving about the history and the people that live along side of the Delta was interesting. The tour guy was excellent and informative. The place we stop for a snack was great. I would recommend this tour. My trip was in Jan Feb this year. Sorry for posting so late.
Best part about the experience was our driver, Pablo. Very informative and made a few extra stops to show us around. Boat was pretty standard, but you do learn something and it was good to see another part of the greater Buenos Aires area.
Did this boat tour while I was in Buenos Aries, Argentina. I was picked up at my hotel and taken back. Very nice guide with a walk around the area before we went on the boat ride. It was a nice cruise on the Tigre River. Worth doing if you're ever in Buenos Aries.
The boat ride is from Tigre. The guide Pablo from Signature is excellent, providing very good information and adding those extras to his service that motivate a return with them.
Is a great experience to know a beautiful city with such a rich history not so far from the capital city of Buenos Aires………Pablo the tour guide is such a great guy and explains everything very well…….the driver was very kind leaving picking up and dropping off everyone at their respective hotels.
Alejandra our guide and Juan our driver were exceptional. It was a very informative tour. The empanadas in a lovely restaurant were delicious. All details were as promised.
Deborah was an excellent guide — very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with thanks to her great English. The trip to the Tigre Delta was absolutely worth it and is truly a must-see experience when visiting the area. She made the whole day feel relaxed, enjoyable, and well organized, while also sharing interesting information and local insights along the way. Highly recommended!
