The Wizard of Oz at Sphere in Las Vegas

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I think whatever show they have in the sphere would be incredible. We loved it, the kids loved it and it was really immersive. I mean the Wizard of Oz is a very old, iconic movie which the adults didn’t mind, the kids were a little like what is this? but everything they had going on whilst the movie was on made it come to life. 10/10 would recommend!

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding my experience upon entering the Sphere today. At the entrance, I was required to throw away several personal items, including an iPhone charging cable, a pair of headphones, and a power bank. I was extremely surprised and frustrated by this, as I had received no prior warning or notification that these items were not permitted inside. I have checked the information available on the website and my ticket information, and I could not find any clear indication that charging cables or headphones were prohibited. Given the price of the tickets, I believe it is entirely reasonable to expect guests to be properly informed in advance about restrictions that could result in their personal belongings being confiscated or discarded. I would have been willing to dispose of the power bank, as I understand that such devices can potentially raise safety concerns. However, I genuinely do not understand what safety or security risk could be posed by a simple charging cable or a pair of headphones. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the staff would not allow me to leave these items in the lockers, which were located only a few steps away from the entrance. This would have been a very simple and reasonable solution and would have avoided the unnecessary loss of my belongings. I was also surprised to find that I appeared to be the only guest stopped and required to dispose of these items. Given the number of people entering with AirPods and other similar devices, the enforcement of this policy also appeared rather inconsistent. I completely understand that the Sphere needs to maintain strict security policies, and I have no issue complying with reasonable safety requirements. My disappointment comes from the fact that this policy was not clearly communicated beforehand and that I was given no reasonable alternative once I arrived at the venue. Had I been informed in advance, I could easily have made the necessary arrangements and avoided losing items that I use on a daily basis for work. I understand that this message may ultimately go unaddressed, but I nevertheless feel it is important to express my genuine disappointment with the way this situation was handled. What should have been an exciting experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a completely avoidable and frustrating incident.

This was the best way of watching one of my favorite musicals, along with how awesome the definition of the screen and the 4D experience really made us feel like we were in the movie. This was the best

It was a great experience! All seats are GREAT. A bit pricey, but worth it. We would definitely go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the show! Yes, it's expensive, but so is everything in Las Vegas these days. However, the way the movie was presented was so immersive that it was as though we had never seen The Wizard of Oz before! Getting there could have been easier had we known about the air conditioned underground passage from the Venetian hotel. We didn't want to walk on the sidewalk outdoors in 100+ degree weather for 20 minutes or more, so we took an Uber from the Venetian. The Uber pickup area is in a section of the hotel garage that is hot, congested, and confusing. No staff were present to help guide us, and then our Uber got caught up in the traffic there. Coming home, attendants in the Sphere told us about the underground passage which, at least on our visit, was open and free of charge. Be sure to ask about this if you're on the strip and want to save yourself the cost of an Uber trip.

I wasnt able to watch the show because somehow the booking date was not the one that i wanted. When i checked, they said ive done the activity. Was trying to ask for a refund or a reschedule but never got a response. I just wanted a simple reply and would have been ok if denied but at least a response would have been great. I will still recommed to a friend though as i am sure i would have enjoyed the show

The actual Wizard of Oz experiencing was fascinating. The only thing I will say that employees had us walk outside to get in the Sphere and back. When the weather is 113' this is not acceptable!

Its amazing! You feel the force of the Tornado, apples drop from the ceiling as keepsakes, and fake snow! The sound is top notch & astounding Special effects. Its an anazing experience!
