Visit a traditional Alimentari and savor authentic Tuscan flavors. Taste two varieties of Pecorino cheese and Finocchiona, a classic fennel-infused salami, showcasing the region’s artisanal produce.
Visit this historic pasticceria, now run by the third generation, a neighborhood staple that has endured floods, wars, and pandemics. Taste their cantucci biscotti, delicate millefoglie cake, and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or cappuccino.
See Porta San Frediano, a historic gate that forms part of Florence’s medieval walls, dating back to 1333, a remarkable remnant of the city’s fortified past.
Stop at Da Simone, a local Florence street food stand, and try the city’s iconic Lampredotto panino (cow stomach sandwich) – better than it sounds!

I cannot recommend this tour enough!! Antonella was out tour guide and she was phenomenal to say the least! She’s the cutest, sweetest, most knowledgeable person I couldn’t ask for a better guide to be honest especially as someone visiting Italy for the first time on my honeymoon!
