The aquarium houses more than 200 sharks and rays, representing 25 different species. All of the animals are cared for by a team of 80 sea-life experts. Education is at the core of The National Aquarium, with an entire department dedicated to learning and enhancing environment knowledge and the capacity to welcome up to 50,000 students a year. Our mission is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release native wildlife in the Abu Dhabi Emirate; we aim to ensure a world of natural treasures for future generations. The National aquarium is our favourite place in Abu Dhabi. We have been annual ticket holders since its opening. The staff are friendly, helpful and very informative. We had a great experience with Mohammed Kahaileh during the behind the scene tour. Very comprehensive and informative and he engaged with us as a family.
We did a tour with Ms. Yen and she was the best!! She made sure that we are entertained yet getting all the knowledge. She literally made us feel so interested about every trivia that she could share. She did a really great job and not only we enjoy, we also learned alot. She is a gem ❤️
